This app has potential to be so much better than it actually is, given it is made by Shopify for Shopify merchants - it should be so much more powerful and integrated than what it actualy is. I do like how easy it is to select products from my store to promote in an email, however I cannot believe that Shopify do not make First Name fields available to personalise each email to my loyal customer base - why would I send out an email that is not addressed personally to them? There is very little in the back end to support refining customer lists and segmentation within shopify also, more work needs to occur with this app to make it worthwhile to use.

Very easy to use and fair priced
Look and feel of builder and final email is good
Needs to work on segmentation such as excluding segment A from segment B & smart sending (supressing addresses that just received another email from another app)

Was an amazing free app while it lasted. Easy to navigate! However, just recently it has been heavily compressing images uploaded through the email. I used to have fine crisp images, now they are so blurry. Hopefully I can find another email editing app.

Wow, it took like ten minutes to get my first email out there. We are very happy with Shopify and am so glad we migrated here. Our business has really taken off and we are ready for a lot more growth! Thank you all so much!!!

The app itself is easy to use and gets the job done. However since we do customisation, a personalised product image is created before the client is about to place an order.

In other abandoned cart apps, like Klaviyo, this customised image can be sent to the client (instead of the regular product image), so they are more likely to recover their cart.

Shopify Email does not. While Shopify support told is this is possible, "we just need to manually code it ourselves", we went ahead and paid a developer to code it for us, only to find out it does not allow us to pull this customised image.

So we spent hours setting up our flows, paid a developer a hefty sum to set up the customised product picture integration, only to find out it doesn't work. Great. Thanks Shopify.
