SparkLayer B2B & Wholesale

We've been using SparkLayer as the B2B version of our D2C website for about a year, and it's fantastic. The support team is crazy fast, and their documentation is really helpful. Happy to recommend them!

How can something like tiered pricing be complicated to set up? I definitely do not advise this app. They also did not respond to our questions, only AI-generated replies. I’m tired of AI chatbots. And while our store was not live, we were charged 5 months total of 250$. It was saying free plan till we get our store live. unbelievable.

The support provided for their product is above and beyond. They worked very hard to not only implement a solution I needed for our store, but also took the time to show me how it was solved. I appreciate that kind of service that includes not only the solution, but showing the work aslo.

Sparklayer is an amazing app if you want to dive into wholesale without the hefty Shopify price tag. It is pretty straightforward to configure but when you run into problems, the team is very responsive and able to help. They also reached out when they noticed I hadn't been using it for a while so customer success is a really important part of how they work.

I especially love Sparkie who, unlike other apps AI tools, actually seems to know what she's talking about. No false advice on app capabilities or sending you down the wrong road here.

The onboarding process was very simple and I am a complete novice when it comes to anything web dev. Simple integration. I think the stock count features are very helpful and being able to set rules around minimum order value for cetain tiers is an excellent feature.

This is by far the best wholesale app. I heavily researched the top 5 wholesale apps, and demoed a few, and ended up on this one. So glad I did. It has all of the features you could need, the others were quite limited. But we're very happy with SparkLayer.

Now for the support, which is absolutely amazing. Within 24 hours of downloading the app they are reaching out to you to ask if they can help you get it set up and to please schedule an onboarding call. And they will set it up on any theme, and very fast--less than a day. They also respond to any issues you have almost immediately. I've never come across an app where the app creators are so proactive to try to help you and reach out to you to schedule onboarding. If the support for every app were like this, it would be amazing. They helped with many issues, and would even follow up to ask if there was anything else we needed. Just absolute top notch support. Shout out to Daniel, our main point of contact and onboarder.

And they NEVER asked me to leave a review. Not once. Almost every other app helps you fix some tiny issue and then hounds you for days about leaving a review and mentioning their name, which is SO tacky. That's why these mediocre apps have so many 5 star reviews. Daniel, or anyone else, 100% did not do that.

My reviews is long because I was that impressed by their support. They should be a model to how every other app should structure their support. Fast, effective, proactive, and not helping you just so you'll leave a 5 star review and falsely pump up their rating. It's discrediting the entire Shopify review system and makes it hard to find a good app. These guys are the real deal.

On boarding was easy, and once we got the hang of it, it was a breeze. The customer service is absolutely SPECTACULAR! They answered every single question we have had and helped us with anything that was out of our depth. Highly recommend!

Support team are great, quick to respond and action. The app itself is exactly what we need for our B2B store.

Bit of a mixed bag with the integration and sync elements. The overlay is good when it works, the tutorials are excellent and the support is very good, however we have had multiple issues unfortunately, so I would only recommend if you have a super simple set up.

We started as a D2C brand but as our B2B business got bigger, we were looking for an easy solution to build a B2B shop that could ideally mirror our D2C shop, had some additional features for B2B customers and wouldn't require manually creating and updating each product from our catalogue.
We tried some other (much more expensive) programs/apps that could connect to our Shopify account but we found most of them rather complicated, not really intuitive to use and not really flexible when it came to adjusting to our needs.
That's why we were super happy when we discovered SparkLayer because it has all the functions we were looking for, is very easy to use and implement and keeps on improving constantly, eg. when it comes to new functions. However, the best part is their customer service because they are super fast and helpful and came up with solutions for any issue or idea we had so far.
As the B2B shop is like a mirror or layer on top of the D2C shop, sometimes SparkLayer requires some creative work arounds, for example when it comes to hiding certain content that should only be visible to D2C customers and we would also love to see some additional functions and improvements, for example when it comes to placing preorders for products that are not launched on our D2C website yet but overall, we are very happy with this app and can only recommend it!
