This app works perfectly well for e-commerce if you would like to have recurring orders from customers under subscription plan. It is easy to navigate, user friendly. Their support team (Ms Nilou) has been very helpful in recommendations. Honestly, you need to try it.
We had been thinking about offering subscriptions on and off over the years, and finally decided to give the idea a try. After a good deal of research, and discussion about which features were most important to us, we chose Subi.
With friendly support and advice from Rick, we made sure we understood the terms and conditions before installing and setting up the app for a trial. After nearly a year, we continue to await a first subscriber—but we are confident that that lucky customer will have a good experience.
Hi Julian, I really appreciate you sharing this. Choosing a subscription app after years of weighing the idea, and doing that much research before committing, says a lot about how seriously you run Bubble Brothers. I'm glad Rick was able to help you feel confident in the setup.
I know the wait for that first subscriber can test your patience, but you've put together a genuinely strong range of subscription options. When that first customer does subscribe, the experience will be there for them.

This app is really great. It offers a really vast amount of features and options. Some of the widgets that you embed are not as customizable as I would like but they work well and don't break.
It is however a bit pricy. The free plan offers a decent amount to get started but most of the great features you will want are behind the higher upgraded plans. The starter plan doesn't have much, but it has just enough to make you want to upgrade to a higher plan. However the price difference between Starter and "Subi" plans is absurd. Its a 10x price jump.
I would love to give it a 5 star however the pricing plans need a rework, so for that i have to give it 4 stars.
So far, this app has been able to meet most of my needs, and it offers a good variety of features and options. The team is continuously improving and updating the app, and overall the experience has been really positive. Definitely worth trying out.
Also, whenever I ran into issues, I could easily reach out to their team for support. Responses were fairly quick, and most problems were resolved smoothly. Communication has been easy throughout, and the team has been very patient and helpful.
great app and service. nice to be able to give customers an option to subscribe and save to help boost your website! Wouldn't worry about any problems or bugs, i experienced something and under 5-10min Rick with their customer service had me back good and ready to go all in time for my customer to place their order how they wanted! I'm a few months in, and mostly smooth sailing so far. A few caveats:
1) I hired some custom coding (outside of Subi) to get the subscription widgets to show in a more clear and effective manner.
2) Some things are a bit unclear or clunky at the outset, like payment reprocessing in the event of a failed payment. Their AI chatbot gave me a completely wrong answer regarding this the first time this occurred, resulting in me sending several duplicate shipments.
3) Once you get past the AI chatbot, most of the customer service team have been very helpful, with the exception of one guy who I just avoid if I see his name come up.
But, given the complexity of handling subscriptions, this has been very serviceable, was relatively easy to set up, and has been fairly easy to maintain other than a clunky bit or two. A learning curve is to be expected when you dive into something like this.
Subi integrates well with Shopify and has been a solid addition to our setup. I do run into the occasional glitch, and it can take a few minutes to sort things out, but support has been helpful when needed. Today, Pearl was especially quick and effective in resolving an issue, which I really appreciated. Overall, I’d recommend the app.

Very disappointing experience.
Initial support from Nilou was great, and we were given confidence that our store could access new features, including Build Your Box. Based on that, we built a large part of our subscription setup and site launch around Subi.
Then, months later, our account was suddenly suspended with no proper warning because we sell wine.
This should have been picked up before granting access — not after we had already built around the app. It has caused a major disruption to our launch and left us scrambling to find another solution, we are unsure if they will revoke this urgent matter as they seem to be very brutal with how they operate.
If Subi does not support certain industries, that needs to be made extremely clear before onboarding merchants or giving them early access.
REALLY FRUSTATING, poorly handled, and a massive waste of time for our team and investment in them.
Great app and Harry was so helpful when I was having difficulty creating a customization!
