TaxJar Sales Tax Automation

Pretty bad. A migration issue resulted in an overpayment of my taxes by thousands in one state and they are now not responding to my emails.

Look for a different app! You cant download a report. Dont contact support they are GHOSTS. I cant auto file for some reason...after paying $19 a month for nothing. Will cancel after I get my BOE filed.

I don't know how I would be able to file sales tax forms in all the states I need to without an app like taxjar. I have been using it for two years now....great customer service too.

Anything that takes some of the tax filing headache away is an A+++ is my book! This app saves me time, hassle, and frustration! A quick and fairly pain-free setup and the sales tax filing is all automated. It easily integrated with my Shopify store. Thank you, TaxJar!!

So nice to have the peace of mind knowing that TaxJar has my sales tax covered across all my sales channels. The customer service is also quick to and very helpful. This saves me dozens of hours each filing period. Money well spent.

Best tax software out there! Not sure I could manage sales/use tax without Taxjar - have many states setup to autofile which saves a TON of time. Also, Taxjar provides a great knowledge base which is very useful for researching tax issues. Highly recommended!

We signed up for this app because they promised that it could provide needed data regarding nexus. We paid almost $6k for their system and now that it is all set up we are not able to pull the needed data that was promised. They will not refund us despite having tried for over a month. Now we have to pay a different tax advisor more money to get the actual info. This company has terrible customer service and was deceptive when explaining their features. The system is clunky and slow. Use a local sales tax advisor and the native Shopify features and you will be fine.

The customer support on this app is ATROCIOUS. We were locked out of our account for OVER a week. Their customer support is in India and each response is 24 hours or more. It's fine as long as it is working. The customer support is one thing but one month when we imported older orders into Shopify it counted ALL the orders even though the dates were over a year old. We had AUTO file set and it deducted $85K from our bank account and it took a few days to get it back. I am SO DONE.
