Zapier no longer has a free option for Shopify and, therefore, stopped working and won't allow you to connect back to Shopify unless you have a paid Zapier account.
Zapier allows me to automate repetitive tasks between Shopify and countless other apps I use. From adding new customers to email lists to updating inventory in my fulfillment system, Zapier takes the manual work out of the equation, saving me precious time.
App wouldnt let me connect to Shopify. While this seems to be a simple connection issue that could be fixed, it wouldnt resolve itself and no customer support available
The app doesn't work.
Every time I try to connect, it says
"Oh, foo.
Zapier could not connect to your account.
Perhaps you declined access?
Or it could be a temporary issue."
I have contacted the support, I still haven't received any answer.

I use Zapier to send my orders to a google sheet, for more automated fulfillment of my Shopify orders. What a time saver!
I use this App to connect information, very good I suggest it because is very helpful and easy to use.
Used to integrate sales data from store to external app. Also the Pinterest integration with Facebook is excellent.
We used this app to get our customer's added with sales receipts in QB. Several other prebuilt apps were not getting our data in as quickly, cleanly, and as specific as we accomplished with Zapier!
UPDATE 12/12/18:
Wow - we have been saving a lot of time for a long time now. The zaps described below in our original review are outdated. Zapier has also become even more powerful (multi-step zaps with alternate paths).
We now do way more and with some different apps (HelpScout, Base, TypeForm). New customers get emails asking how they found us (and a follow-up after a week if they don't respond). They are also added to HelpScout in case we need to reach out. Canadian customers get special emails about customs. Customers ordering free samples or abandoning checkout are added to Base as Deals. On shipment, customers get special instructions about receiving freight. Customers who purchase after requesting samples are logged in a "converted sampler" Google Sheet. Results from TypeForm "How They Found Us" are shared in a different Google Sheet with our PPC agency.
In short, if you can map a business process out, you can improve your efficiency by automating with Zapier. And, of course, top-notch support is there to help you along the way.

We absolutely LOVE Zapier. Super easy to use, super powerful, super support. So far we have connected up Shopify to Desk.com (which we also love) and a Google Spreadsheet Form Results doc to Zoho CRM. The combination of Zapier and Desk.com is amazing. It is allowing us to automatically make sure we give attention to certain orders. For example, when a customer does not enter a shipping phone number, Zapier will create a case so long as "Mail" is not in the shipping line data since we don't need a phone number in those cases so no harm. We set the subject of the case via Zapier to include the order number and "is missing a phone number." Desk's rules take over and send a special email requesting the info from the customer where the case title contains that phrase. All fast, all automatic, all simple to get going. Support is great too. I asked a question about our Desk.com custom fields since we want more data from Shopify transferred. Support made it happen with the hour. Zapier makes great apps like Desk.com even more powerful.

Love this app! I use it for all sorts of automation, with Shopify i am able to automate new orders with custom Gmail emails to clients, and with Google Sheet.
The app is solid and customer service is a real pleasure to talk to when you need assistance.

I've been using Zapier for years for many companies. I've only recently had a reason to contact their support team and was blown away by the support I received from Kirk.
Highly recommend this app if you want to build a sophisticated stack of applications without having to use a development team to glue it all together.

Using Zapier to automate populating orders into Google sheets and send reply emails. Working really great and saves time. Also using their Quickbooks integration to populate the customers which is saving additional time. We love Zapier.

I did the free trial. The set up was relatively easy, I only had one glitch which I was able to fix. The integration with Facebook was great for collecting leads and loading them right into Shopify.

Very hard to get started took me 3 -4 weeks going back and forth with zapier with little to no help. no telephone, kind of really weak customer service. But once i fumbled my way through. I finally found out how to link facebook links adds with shopify and am very happy now.I think it is now hooking up with facebook and xfering data to shopify I have about 50 new leads in a week.
Zapier as been a great addition to our store, www.manemanagement.com. Our customers love the app even though they have no idea of the inner workings. It just works seamlessly with our store!
I've used Zapier to automate pushing blog posts to all my social sites. It's freed up loads of time I'd otherwise be wasting. Support is great and the staff are awesome... even gave me a free t-shirt! :D
Highly highly recommend if you're wanting to automate anything in you Shopify store.
Overall - Zapier allows our small team to work efficiently and automatic the simple mundane things. It is pretty simple to pick up but when you do have questions. the support team I have run into has been great.
Pros - have every app imaginable to connect your shopify store (every CRM I've looked at is supported). I was able to setup our first ZAP and get it tested within 15-30 minutes.
Cons - I wanted to run two 'Zaps' at the same time but according to their support it wouldn't be allow.
1) Form Submission --> Search & Update Customer
2) Form Submission --> Make a New Customer
Ideally, it would search to see if the customer is already in the database and if not, create a new customer. If the customer does exist, it will update them.
Zapier in general is amazing. I use it to stitch together multiple, fairly priced products to create an integrated system that would otherwise be too expensive for me to afford. Specifically with this integration, I use Zapier to create a new user in Intercom when an order is placed in Shopify. This saves manual re-entry, or batch importing between the systems.
Great, but it seems a little pricey until you consider the savings (the value)
Zapier integration does save time over the long run - make sure you have lots of things you want to automate to get the best value per zap. Also, consider how much the savings represent - for instance if it used to take 1 person 2 minutes to do something 3 times a day, how many $$ has that saved overall? Count the interruption in their process too - humans aren't multi-taskers.

Zapier is amazing, happy that we can connect our Shopify store with our ActiveCampaign email system, to ensure that all our customers end up on our email list.
Zapier made it possible for us to connect shopify to google docs and the support helped in a way that was above and beyond friendly and fast! That was and still is the reason why we continue to use Zapier! Zapier is awesome and easy to use.

We have used Zapier for quite a while and been pleased with it.
Now that we are using it to connect our Hubspot website to our Shopify store and Infusionsoft we are Raving Fans of Zapier. It does so much more than I imagined.
Just this past week I was having trouble setting up some new Zaps and sent a tech support ticket and in a very short time Jose responded and we emailed back and forth, he is very patient and helpful and we resolved the issues.
We will be using Zapier for a long time to come and I have a feeling we have only begun to tap into the potential of it.

We've used Zapier for other non-Shopify integrations for a while now. Works great for automatically adding new orders to our Trello production queue.
We were able to automate some of the process with the Zapier app with shopify. I like that we can also see the line items when we need to through zapier not just the general order info.
Excellent app for so many uses. We're currently using Zapier to auto populate a spreadsheet with each new product synced to our store!

I user Zapier for EVERYTHING and it's my favourite tool for automating almost every business task.
Shopify is no exception to this and syncing my sales to Google Drive, Google Cloud Print and MailChip is made a breeze with Zapier.
We use Zapier to link Shopify to our Slack account so that we can get live updates right in our communication hub as soon as new orders come in. Zapier is a lifesaver for sure!
Incredible app with a lot of flexibility!
Couple things, I LOVE this whole thing. Its like IFTT on sterioids. ONE issue is, you can automate an order to auto print which is pretty bad @ss, but the problem is IT WONT print out the Order Print like how you do it manually. You get a really ugly layout, it works but it could be much better if they utilize all of the API possibilities. They need to make it so it can be more shopify implementation. I dont see why they couldnt use the option of printing via order printer. Or maybe even some html coding for the layout.
Another issue is for quanity is in , so lets say they order 5 reds and 6 blues, in item line is shows what they ordered, then next line shows quantity: 5,6
