DO NOT use this app if you want alt text images for blind or visually impaired people. I run a shop for disabled people and it is ESSENTIAL that image alt text is properly descriptive for users who rely on screen-readers. After painstakingly entering highly descriptive alt text for each of my product images, this app has overridden EVERYTHING, costing me 20 hours of work in addition to the $25 a month I spend "to never have to do anything manual again". I purposely turned off alt text image optimizer in the autopilot function and this app went ahead and overrode my 20 HOURS of work doing this. Instead there are some really lame, non descriptive alt text descriptions for my images. Even from an SEO perspective, what they have overridden doesn't work any better. I am totally heart broken and disappointed that I now need to sit down and spend another 20 HOURS of work. You have taken my money which is one thing, but now you've taken my time and this is not ok. I can't get my time back but I want my money back.
WOW I just look into my shopify Billing and guy been charging my account since September 2019 ! That is outrageous. This is super unprofessional to charge fees on apps that been uninstalled for YEAR! I will escalade this to shopify. You guy owe us 425$. Please act quickly. I don’t wanna to see any of you apps fees on my billing EVER again!

Do not use - stripped our site completely after uninstalling.
We found the product too expensive and didn't see much results after a few months - we decided to uninstall the app and its now ruined our website by stripping all meta data. Absolutely awful.

However, SEO improvement is a gradual, long-term process because of how Google and other search engines work.
It takes Google up to several weeks to update its listings of your pages, so changes from the app do not immediately appear in Google results.
It takes even longer for SEO to start making an impact on your site traffic and sales: 4 to 6 months on average, because of how search engines track SEO.
So any changes due to our app cannot have had any effect on your traffic or sales at this point, especially since the app was just installed on February 22, 2023

Believe me this app owner and this company system is very much narow, this app owner is dirty minds of people,
fow why?
i used this app before but not a free version , i used paid version before .i used this app 2 months, its totally useless you never get rank from this app because google seo ranking is not easy .
they said in this no need code required but they are injected 3-4 codes on your thime liquid you can find it. without your permission they are pushed it ,
i request this team 4times please remove the code my site is slowly loading, they directly denayed my request , they replied me check the video you remove it that's it.
please , please , please do not install this app if you need any screenshot i can share with you.
The app initially was great but then later found out it was interfering with a lot of coding and not allowing functions to work correctly.
After uninstalling the app, there is still code left of my website and have had no help from the Booster team to get rid of it - only a generic video that is not suitable - It has now been a few weeks with no resolution.

free version...nothing is free. Even if you manage to do some changes manually, they go away once you uninstall.

I've read your recent feedback about our app and apologize for the confusion.
Our app's Free version is limited to one feature only: optimizing image alt tags or alt-text(bits of image-related code) so that your product images are ranked higher on Google Images.
Also, I want to clarify that uninstalling the app doesn't remove the alt-text/tags added by our app's free version, those will be permanent since our app has access to your image alt tags/text on your Shopify admin.
To further explain this, we have gone ahead and sent you an email.
