The search is definitely a major improvement over the native Shopify search (which is absolutely terrible for larger stores). It supports lots of customization to get it to prioritize top products or suppress collections.

I tried 3 different search engine apps for my store that is translated into 15 languages. While most of the others worked fine for English, Cloudsearch was the only app that has worked for all of my languages, and will work if I decide to add more languages. It is fast, and works very, very well.

I wanted to add some customisation to the search filter facility which they did for me the same day and then responded to additional questions by email. Extremely professional and highly recommended.
I have to say this is the best filter app you can get. The app does exactly what you want. Plus the customer support is very impressive. I had an issue setting up the app but they came through, extended my trial period by another 14days and did the complete setup from scratch. Add to that a very budget-friendly cost, nothing beats this in the app store!
