I am a Commslayer early adopter. The app is not old enough nor has been in production long enough for a comprehensive review.
The devs are committed to making this better, every day.
I am a fan of the devs, and I am convinced they share a passion to make a world class product.
Is it a 100% replacement of the apps it intends to replace ? Not 100% yet -- but... The 80/20 on this is a Win. There is just enough to make it ready-enough for today (October 2024). We are using it in production.
The devs know what their roadmap is, and they welcome feedback from the merchants. And they are transparent. A good team!
I will continue to update this review, with honest feedback.
I've used HelpScout for many years but their pricing was getting out of control. I did the comparison for Giorgias and Zendesk but they didn't seem impressive for what they were charging.
I was happy to see a native Shopify help desk app that is free and works perfectly! Looking forward to seeing this app grow.
We have previously used Re:amaze and Richpanel, and this app is better. The way the AI is integrated is great. Really happy with it and have already been recommending it to people. And given its free, its a no brainer! Also its great not to have 'powered by richpannel' on every single support email.
So far so good. This is my first time using a CX software so don't know much about what to expect. Only thing I know is that is being very helpful compared to just handle tickets over email and to onboard a CX agent to support me. I don't think I am using most of the features but thanks for building this, it's been very helpful so far.
Was evaluating this vs Gorgias and the value and product offering this has is leaps and bounds better for a way better price. If you're looking for a customer support platform with all the essentials you need, look no further than Commslayer! If I could give this 100 stars I would!

I was about to write "by far the best value for money support platform," but that seems silly when it's totally free.
So, instead, I'll just write that it's the best support platform of all the platforms we've used, and we've been through a few: both Gorgias (too expensive), Re:amaze (buggy UI), and DelightChat (also buggy UI). CommSlayer is my favorite — by far.
My current favorite feature is the Superhuman-like keyboard shortcuts that allows me to go through tickets blazingly fast
Incredible product already, even better pricing. No doubt this team will develop this into an amazing product, and it will be the go-to CX platform soon.
