I developed a new theme for Kickoff Couture & we needed the Bold app re-installed into the new theme. Arcee was 100% the most amazing help, constantly answering all questions because I honestly had no clue about why Bold was doing the things it was doing for us. Arcee single-handedly helped us install and setup the Customer Pricing app. LOVE LOVE ARCEE!!!!!!

Useful app to create wholesale pricing on your Shopify store

I have not officially launched my wholesale side of my website. But, I do wish that you could set minimums per item for wholesale. For example, in order to get wholesale pricing, you must by a case pack of 6 hats. I can foresee some confusion on the future with wholesale orders since I do actually set quantity minimums and a over all minimum ($150.00) in order to purchase at wholesale pricing. These practices seem fairly standard for selling wholesale. If I have missed these features, please let me know. I would be very happy to see these features and use them.

I'd give it 4.5 stars overall.

Not being a LIQUID-pro coder, it actually did cost me quite a bit of time to set everything up. In hindsight, I should have taken the one-time setup-fee option.

I did manage to crash the app when I tried entering decimal numbers in the discount fields (detailed pricing) - and I am a little sad that the system does not support decimal discounts (it would really help us).

Overall, the system is awesome though. We actually use it for different levels of Memberships (Big Bruddha, Gold Brick and MULTIPASS), that work as discounts on the same items. We then show items which otherwise would be invisible to non-members. The three levels allow us to give different discounts on the hidden as well as the standard items.

I'd love a -SHOW option (which is the opposite of the -HIDE option) to reduce the amount of tags we need to set, but really that's mostly cosmetic.

You really have to think about how to use the system, but it offers a lot of options.

What I did not like is the update speed on items. Setting up 20-25 items took about 2 hours (!) to update. Not sure if that had to do with the crash I had or whether that's normal, but that kind of caused the -0.5 points out of 5 stars.

I would still strongly, no, BOLDLY recommend this app.

Update: App is working now. It still took almost 3 weeks to get it to work and numerous emails, so I can only give it 4 stars. ---- Buggy app and an inexistent customer service. They claim that the bugs are the result of a wrong automatic installation. Apparently now a developer has "installed" it manually for us and the issue is fixed. However it is still showing the same bugs as before and there is no reply from customer service.

Overall this product does exactly what I needed to do which is setup custom pricing for groups and individuals. Simply create a tag, define the pricing for the tag and tag the Shopify customer account with the appropriate tag or multiple tags.

Support has always been quick to respond and very helpful. 4 stars are awarded instead of 5 due to the app being somewhat confusing at times albeit very powerful.

Bold Apps as a whole is great. We are using several Bold Apps in our shopify store and are very happy with them.

Has the features I need. Very confusing liquid installation process, you will probably have to shell out an extra $40 just to get up and running.

Seems to be working well, some difficulties in getting the custom prices working correctly but all just teething problems.
