Was working fine but now it's buggy and won't let me add any new digital products. Shame as it worked fine previously

You can try using a different web browser to login to your Shopify Admin and access the application. If the application works in the new browser, I recommend clearing the cache and cookies of the previous browser, as this should clear the problem. If the issue persists in the new browser, I recommend uninstalling, and then reinstalling the application.

Ive been using this app since the beginning of my shopify store and couldnt operate without it. Ive had very few issues in the past years and recommend for anyone selling PDFs or other digital content.
Has been working fine in the background for nearly 3 years, ok customers couldnt access downloads in their account page, but at least I could fairly quickly resend download links on the odd occasion there was an issue. Latest update has resulted in constant 'There has been an error, the developer has been told' messages, the app regularly tells me it isn't installed. Clicking the 'Resend Download Link' on customer order page causes an error. Loading the downloads and manually generating a download link does the same. How an update that is so damaging to the app ever got released I do not know. Waited patiently to see if a patch was forthcoming, doesn't look like it... AVOID

Used to work just fine, but now doesn't work on Safari at all (yes - I have the latest version), nor does it work on Chrome. Can't add attachments at all. And no help from developer.

Antes era una buena App, pero desde la actualización de unos meses deja mucho que desear. Funciona muy, pero muy lenta, y muchos días falla y no envía nada.
Por lo que siempre estás en alerta de que la App esté funcionando... nada recomendada!
Si escribes al servicio de atención de Shopify para comentarles que la App no funciona, su única solución es eliminar la App y volver a instalar perdiendo todos los datos de clientes que tengas... ¡Una muy mala solución!
Finalmente, la App suele arreglarse sola sin borrar nada, pero puede transcurrir entre 2 horas o 1 día completo.
Otro aspecto que no es nada bueno, es que aunque actives la opción de que no se prepare el pedido si existe riesgo de fraude alto, la App lo envía igualmente! Por lo que no estás nada protegido en la tienda, ¿consejo? Busca otra App mejor.
I have used digital downloads for YEARS. For the past few months I’ve experienced numerous issues with my customers not being able to download their orders. I can’t get into products to attach files as well. Service has been not helpful. No explanation. No we will fix it etc. The last support email suggested I switch to a different provider. If only that was so easy when you have 1000+ digital files to MOVE. So upsetting.

While I know that your initial attempt at contacting our team wasn't ideal, we'd love to have another try at assisting you. Customers are having trouble with the downloadlink they receive. They are often times redirected to the store, which in my case is not possible, since I am running on the Lite subscription (no storefront) what could be the trouble? This has happened too many times now in a short period of time.

UPDATE: The update in October 2022 is a visual mess, if I'm being honest. There's so much information presented for individual files now, that it's almost overwhelming scrolling through everything. It's especially bad if you have more than one file attached to a listing (i.e., variations); you can barely tell where info on one file ends and the next file starts. The previous version was super simple, and I honestly prefer the old streamlined look. ORIGINAL REVIEW: It does what it's supposed to do and so far has worked flawlessly for my shop. I am grateful it's free and am extremely grateful the storage is unlimited. I do wish there was an option for downloads to be available within the customer's order history page, and/or to be able to turn off the auto-generated email this app kicks out. (Shopify sends the regular order confirmation email, with a link to the download page, then this app sends a second email with a link to the files. Together, they're redundant, and the customer gets 2 emails with every order placed. This app's email is so plain and generic that it's almost embarrassing. I wish I could opt in or out.) Overall, this app is the only reason I'm able to sell on Shopify and branch off from Etsy, so I'm very, very happy with it! Thank you, developers!
