Works just as it should. Easy to install and makes international shipping much easier. Mark and the team also provide great customer service responding quickly and going the extra mile. Well run company and solid tech.

We have swapped from Global-E to Zonos and I can say that from start the finish the on-boarding process has been simple, fast and painless. I have felt supported and listened to throughout while having everything explained clearly. The testing process is vigorous (Which Global's is not) and everything has happened exactly to the timeline we requested. Curtis was charming and helpful the entire time and has always answered my questions almost immediately despite the time difference. So far I am incredibly happy with our move and would recommend Zonos to everyone!

Zonos has an extremely helpful and easy onboarding process. It will help alleviate any issues with shipping on international orders, having the duties and taxes listed up front. Our Integration Specialist was extremely knowledgable and answered all of our questions quickly and efficiently!

Love this app -- makes complicated taxation/duties rules for international orders super easy. They hand hold you through the whole set up and processing int'l orders thereafter is seriously 1 click of a button. No one could understand this on their own and these guys are experts. Also, they can calculate dimensional weight which to this day, I still can't find a good app for that for domestic orders. Also, they bear all the risk of their calculations; they guarantee the taxes and duties calculations and pay the difference if they are wrong. Makes me sleep better at night given how complicated that is. JUST USE THIS APP.

Zonos started off great, had it for over a year with not one issue. This year they are clearly going through some ‘changes’ I.e expanding too fast. Constant issues, they make changes to our store tax set up without evening letting us know, one minute charging no tax for a country and the next minute they are. Meaning all our website text is incorrect about shipping. The reply is the government have changed and it’s now mandatory to collect x amount in this country, well Zonos, how about an email to your stores letting them know! Rather than letting them go for days thinking sales are slow to find out customers are now paying hefty fees at checkout went they weren’t before! It’s called communication or a blanket email that you have/are changing the current set up to do XYZ for instance. Pretty naive to think you can just go around changing stuff and not have an effect on checkout conversion. I think the best one was when zone started charging duties on or EU products to the EU. Without telling us, once we realised I received a reply that they had a new blanket rule about preferential rules of origin and had decided our goods didn’t meet the criteria, yet they didn’t think to tell us and lastly were wrong! Our goods are of EU origins and are duty free. Hopeless. Also now makes me laugh support are Monday to Friday, great when they make changes on a Friday and disappear for the weekend leaving the store loosing money. AVOID

We recognize that the issues with Brexit and the new UK VAT taxation law have been frustrating, and we apologize for the problems you’ve experienced when dealing with the changes that came because of this new way of countries handling/enforcing tax collection. We always strive to make sure we get the proper information before making changes on our end, but we recognize that our in-app communication and emails may not have reached the person that needed to see them. For these reasons, we apologize and hope to learn from these mistakes and do better for our customers. We have reached out to your team separately via email, and hope to get further insight on a scheduled call to understand how we can improve and if there is anything we can do to accommodate any customizations your store has. We also recognize that our customers need support around the clock, and we are currently working on providing weekend support for our growing customer base. Excellent onboarding process from Matthew at Zonos. Whilst the service is pricey, so far it seems worth it and is allowing our customers to checkout with ease, with all relevant customs information presented up front. We have integrated with Fedex meaning our carried rates get pulled through. I would recommend Zonos to anyone looking to expand internationally.

Update 8-12:
After posting this review , i was contacted directly by a customer support team member who has been working with me one on one to solve the issues we are incurring with inaccurate estimates which Zonos was providing our customers. Due to the major limitations with Shopify's shipping attributes and what they give developers access to in their API , Zonos is pretty handcuffed into how it has to actually do its job. They are using many workarounds in their software to fix issues that could EASILY be solved by Shopify directly. I complained about the cost of Zonos, but now I have a better understanding why its so expensive. Their support team and how much effort they actually have to put into helping customers to receive accurate estimates must be very costly. You are not just paying for the app, you are paying for their guidance in getting it to work properly. I still don't know that their workarounds and solutions are successful yet so im bumping my review one star for the level of attention we are getting. Zonos is the only app on the marketplace that does exactly what I need , so Im thankful there team is so helpful.

The back end of the app, and integrating into my store worked well. However the cost estimates have been wildly inaccurate with no rhyme or reasoning that I can deduce after analyzing a handful of transactions. I am also not too keen on the aggressive pricing and lack of response from customer service when we requested help (still waiting for a reply 4 days later). At $10/mo plus taking a cut of my GROSS revenue is pretty insane for an app. I will hope to integrate some other more cost efficient solution in the near future so I can breakaway from this service.
