404/301 SC Easy URL Redirects

We changed domains for one of our stores, and rebuilt the theme on another. The SC Easy Redirects app was an integral part of both projects. It's easy to set up, group, and manage hundreds of directs; and gets around Shopify's inability to natively redirect live URLs (very helpful for complex SEO). The support team are always online and willing to help. Highly recommended!

"Delete selected redirects" features are not working. When I reported this, they said their own team would handle the process. For the past 3 days, deletion only happens a little when I ask about the status. They are probably deleting them manually, but they do not admit this either. They say it can take some time. However, they have placed a select all and delete button there, but they do not talk at all about it not working. Most likely, when I write, someone starts deleting manually, but then they stop when things get busy. By writing this review , they have left me no choice but to point out this amateur approach.

It's fairly simple to create easy redirects. The support team seemed very attentive and was able to help solve issues in a short time frame, which was much appreciated. We will continue to work with them!

This has been a handy tool for getting my redirects managed and eliminated on my store. It did exactly what I needed, and above that, the developer, Anes, has been lovely to work with and has been excellent in helping with my questions and setup.

I’ve been using this product for six months. When it works, it’s fine. However, I’ve encountered some issues while using SEMRUSH for backlink analysis. I deliberately test the app by clicking on links that SEMRUSH identifies as broken, expecting to land on a 404 page. This should indicate that the app needs to report these as broken links to be fixed, but it often fails to do so.

When I reached out to support, they informed me that URLs ending in .jpg are not supported. I told them there were many more examples, but they ignored me. This was very disappointing.

Just this morning, I tested normal blog post pages from my SEMRUSH backlink report, discovered several more broken links, and SC Easy Redirects still did not detect them. Sadly, I’ve decided to delete the app after relying on it for months with inconsistent results.

I would advise caution when considering this app.

Excellent app that I've used with several different sites. Support is top notch and they will actually write a script to accurately fix in bulk most redirects. There is not a better app for redirects than this one.

Great customer support. Answered everything we needed. We migrated from Magento to Shopify and had a great deal of redirects to manage. This app is necessary and works great.
