I tried to connect Facebook sales channel with my Shopify store and it did not connect. There was a message error after completing the installation saying "There was a problem processing this action. Please refresh the page". After changing many emails during 2 weeks with Shopify support team and speaking with 5 team members, I received an email from Shopify saying that they can't solve this issue because it is from Facebook and they will close my ticket ID. I am disappointed by the support I received. The error appeared on Shopify platform, Shopify should help fixing errors on their platform.

However, there are cases where issues that stem from Facebook are reflected in our app, but but do not have a causal relation to the app. It seems our technical team has investigated and ruled this to be the case for your issue. So far the set up was really easy. This really makes running a shop on Shopify super easy since Facebook gives us an inbuilt way to drive traffic

Great app, very easy to use, seamless integration, highly recommended for everyone looking to add collections to facebook from shopify
The app doesn't track the correct revenue, it sends duplicate purchase events to Facebook each time the user reloads the order confirmation page, and it does not send deduplicating information to Facebook.
The support is absolutely useless, I have been in contact with the special Meta support for this app, and they keep asking me to check
- the pixel setup (which by the way is managed by the app) and/or
- referring me back to Shopify to ensure the app is installed correctly (Shopify were the ones who referred me to Meta).

Sometimes they disable my account and arent not helpful in getting the ads running again. Facebook is very unresponsive.
Easy to set up once you have your product in your Shopify store. If you want to "customize" your FB/Instragam Shop, that takes time and you have to do that yourself (create collections and customize your FB Shop), otherwise, as long as you have the sales channel checked in your listing, it auto-populates. The only pain for a time was getting it to connect for Facebook Marketing (connecting the ad account)
