We have tried many other chat apps and this version of Shopify Inbox has been the easiest for my team and customers to use effectively!
We felt a drastic increase in use by our customers once we switched to Inbox and my team has easily been able to communicate back and forth resolving issues, answering product questions, and supporting our customers.
Has greatly improved/streamlined our online support processes and response times.
Alot of spam messages from people looking for work to do to your store or what not.
just learning and just now getting emails. so far so good. i have had a wonderful thus far.

Think the inbox is great, keeps everything organised and notifications come through to website/email easily.
I have found setting up laptop notifications a little more tricky.
I have no idea how people use this application on desktop. The application has had bugs since the last update last year. The Inbox app just times out and continues loading for 20 to 30 minutes. It is unusable through the Shopify desktop admin.
All I get is vendors bothering me with solicitation in digital marketing, SEO, sales, exposure, etc. Everyone is an expert. It is just freaking annoying getting messages from all these communication channels by vendors. Messenger from facebook is the same. Worst yet is after you ask them to stop they continue even harder as to why they are soliciting you and justifying the continuation of messages. But yet not one customer for an authentic purchase. Lol.
This is one of the best customer messaging systems. It keeps the previous conversation records, which makes it easy to communicate with the customer. The only thing is that you can not send PDF files or Excel invoices.
Easy peasy. Works well for chat. Would be an absolute killer app if it could accept and manage inbound emails rather than just through the widget.
