The usage fees are ridiculous, and I didn't noticed until I just saw that I was charged $115 when only a single $25 order came via their app. In all, in 2025, they charged me $720 for 4 small pre-orders. They will charge you based on store volume that has nothing to do with them, even when all the volume is from third party marketplace integrations with Shopify where it wouldn't be possible to use this app in any capacity. Outrageous fees. Stay away from this app if you have high volume that doesn't have anything to do with pre-orders.

Charges you for all orders through your store, even if they didn't use the platform. 65 pre-orders cost us hundreds of dollars in usage fees.
Also, terrible support - passes blame back to Shopify when the pre-orders don't complete the second payment.

We understand this model may not suit every business, and we appreciate you sharing how it impacted you.
Regarding the second payment issue, pre-order payment flows rely on Shopify’s checkout and billing systems, which sometimes limits what we can directly control. That said, we absolutely take responsibility for supporting our merchants and regret if you felt we didn’t help enough.

After using this app all orders left a committed inventory amount for all products in all orders despite the orders being fulfilled.
Complete waste of time using the app as it has not screwed up my stored inventory quantities.

Sudden charges after being installed and used for 3 months without charge
Support refuse to say there is an issue. Send me to shopify for help but shopify say it is the apps issue

2 Months later after a lot of back and forth emails and live chats between shopify and kaktus i eventually got my refund. It took a huge effort to get this back. Then once received Kaktus then kept requesting i alter my review. So here is my updated review:

I want to ensure that we are all on the same page. With all due respect, the way the app ecosystem operates is such that you are charged by Shopify, and Shopify then makes the payment directly to us.
Once you request a refund, we can approve it. However, the actual refund is processed by Shopify or the payment processor, not by us. If you have any stores and request a refund, the process will be the same—some processors might take more time, others less.
It's important to point out that we issue refunds immediately, no questions asked. We still believe that this review is unfair to us, as it does not reflect any feedback on the app itself but rather your experience with obtaining a refund.
If there is anything else we can do, please contact us. We will do everything to make you happy, I promise.

What can I say from install to now soon to be uninstall - problems!
Add to cart function does not work - on my site
The ap removed add to cart button from my site
I now have to re-upload and publish multiple SKU's
What I can say is the support team tried to help as much as possible and where incredibly diligent helping for over 4 hours - they just couldn't fix the button issues or get the ap to work correctly.

Horrible, does not load in properly half the time leading to regular checkouts and charge backs and randomly just stopped working after a few days. Customer support was pretty much worthless, use any other preorder app...

i wanted to love it and its better in most ways than other i have tried but why is there no list that shows what items were purchased and how many... if you do large preorders and only order the options people purchased its a real pain to have to manually go through and there is bound to be errors so now i will have to keep searching for something else because it makes no sense not to have a page that lists all items ordered and their quantities because manually is tedious if you get a ton of orders.

First of all, thank you for using our app. In our menu, we have an item called 'Orders'. If you click on it, you will be able to see all the orders created by our app. It's super easy.
Also, please feel free to contact us; we are available almost 24/7.
Great app - though the functionality should arguably be part of the Shopify experience - but it does what it says; there's a glitch (Shopify's fault apparently) that means you have to manually send each pre-order to fulfilment, which is a pain that I can live with while it's free, but something that would need to be resolved when the time comes to start charging.
But if you're looking for a free pre-order app to help manage out of stock items, then it's close to perfect.

Really simple to use and with many options to choose from.
To be honest I didn't expect 24/7 support and with only a few seconds of waiting time.
Liubiva was really helpful and even helped me with my Shopify settings.
Keep up the good work and keep adding more functions.
Ideally would like the preorder button to appear on my products' collection as well.
