Very unhappy with this app right now for three reasons:

1) Many translations failed in the last 17 days (probably more but I do not see older tasks!!!) and I never noticed because the app does not let you know. User experience -1000. Our customer happines also -1000.

2) I have been using langshop for quite a while now and their auto-translate feature does not work with duplicates. Also something no one tells you.

3) Dynamic translations feature is slowing down the site quite a bit. And customers can see the "live" translation which makes your shop look like a dropshipping store.

We appreciate the chance to clarify a few points and help resolve the issues you’ve encountered.

1) The status of each translation (completed or failed) can be viewed in the History section of the app. In most cases with OpenAI translations, the failures may be related to insufficient OpenAI credits. We’ve reached out to confirm this, but haven’t heard back yet.
If credits aren’t the cause, our developers will gladly investigate further to resolve it from our side.

2) Auto-sync is designed to translate only newly added products and collections automatically. Duplicated products already contain copied information (including translations), so they are not re-translated automatically.
We understand this can be confusing, so in the app and support documentation it's mentioned that newly added items can be translated this way.

3) Many dynamic translation rules can impact loading speed since these translations are rendered directly on the storefront. To reduce this effect, we recommend using dynamic text mainly for third-party app or custom content, while translating Shopify-native content directly in the backend through other sections of the app.

Been using Langshop for about a year now. Their pricing is a bit above the market, HOWEVER, customer support is good. for example, they help me embed the switcher properly into the footer, other app does not support. Also, the UI is a lot smoother, and no HIDDEN FEE. Highly recommend.

Amazing app and excellent customer support!

I was searching for a functional app for translation for very long. All of them had some big problems while using and the machine translation was not usable for website.

Luckily I found Langshop which works just perfect. It runs one 4 different language apps and its up to you to choose the one that works best for you. It has quick and very useful staff.

The app is very bad for translations. Many many mistakes and they always will tell you that they are not in charge.

Same with their "Glossary" as a converting service. It doesn't work at all.

I wasted a whole year to tell them to fix the bad translations and all they do is to change the text manually.

They charge me extra with cumulative of hundreds dollars useless !!!

They do not agree to make any refund for no service they gave me.

Steer clear of this app, it’s pure danger!

All translations in LangShop are performed by integrated translation engines — both standard and advanced — which we’ve explained multiple times in our conversations. The quality of translations fully depends on the chosen engine and the source text. Our support team has always communicated this respectfully and provided examples to help you achieve the best possible result.

Regarding the Glossary feature — it works correctly when used according to the provided instructions. Our agents have repeatedly explained and demonstrated how it functions, always in a polite and detailed manner. Unfortunately, you were not willing to cooperate or follow our guidance during these sessions, and some of your responses to our team were offensive, which we do not tolerate, but still continue to provide you with assistance.

As for billing — no extra charges were ever made beyond your active subscription. In fact, we offered you a considerable discount as a goodwill gesture and tried to find a fair resolution.

During our last correspondence, we once again assisted you with the app’s setup, but you chose not to continue the process. We’re still open to helping you and explaining every function step-by-step if you decide to cooperate constructively.

Please feel free to contact our support team again — we’ll be glad to assist you once more and ensure you get the best from LangShop.

Very disappointed with the service. There is no support provided even for Unlimited plan subscribers. I have raised a critical bug more than 12 hours ago, yet to get any revert or even ETA on revert. If you are planning to spend $500/month then I would recommend NOT to choose LangShop

LangShop is the best application in its class. It allows for bulk translations and lets us automate product translations with ease. Compared to other translation apps, this is a huge time saver. The few times when we needed to talk to their support, their live chat was always very helpful.

I’ve tried other apps before, but they were way too complicated to bulk edit using Excel. Langhop is so much simpler and more intuitive, it really saves me a lot of time! I did have a small issue with syncing at first, but thanks to Diana from the support team, it was resolved quickly. Excellent app and great customer service!

After trying dozens of translation apps this functions the best. You can catch all the translation errors via glossary, the translations are smart and you can specify what exactly you need to translate (urls yes / no, etc)
