It took us a little while to get our head around the regexes, but with Christians help the app was up and running perfectly within a day. Our shipping rates are quite complex and I am pleased that a free app is able to handle these complexities seamlessly.

Absolutely fantastic App and a must for anyone wanting more control over their shipping rates. I have been able to set shipping rates with filters for; weight, price, country, postcode all in one rate and they work seamlessly. I have spoken with Christian who responded to my email query within a few hours and advised me on what filters to use for my needs. 100% recommend this App!!!

Unbeatable.

My store is based in the UK and different areas have different postage costs but Shopify shows the UK as one whole shipping area.

I tried some paid apps (Shopify recommended ones) which worked to a point. One of them allowed me to add different postcode zones but i couldn't add different levels of delivery service i.e express or economy.

THIS app is FREE & it allows you to ad complex rules and solve a problem a paid app couldn't do! I honestly have no idea why Shopify recommends broken paid apps when there are cheaper or free alternatives that work better.

The only problem is for ALL shipping zone apps that i found you need the next level account to add real time shipping zones. You can contact Shopify to add this to your account without upgrading your account level thoug, which is what i did.

Ive been wondering whether to give this app 4 or 5 stars for some time as it can be really complex. However I came to realise that the reason for this is that UK shipping is a really complicated affair! So complicated in fact, it took me weeks to configure all eventualities. Despite the odd anomaly, this app has given me the ability to configure all sorts of options. In total, I have had to create approximately 120 shipping rates that apply to different scenarios including next day, 2 day, free and pallet shipping. If you have some knowledge of "regular expressions" this is a great help! Also, for all those complaining that you need to be on a higher plan...just go on a yearly subscription and ask Shopify to activate "Shipping Calculator". That is what I did and I remain on the basic plan but pay less for paying annually! Win Win!

By far the best shipping rates application out there. We have very complex restrictions on what products can be sold in what territories due to a vast majority of our products being produced under license from companies such as Disney. With Parcelify we have been able to set rules based on tags to achieve exactly what we needed. Another benefit of Parcelify is that when an issue does (rarely) occur, then the response is really fast and the issue is quickly resolved. I've been speaking directly with Richard, one of the co-founders, and he was extremely helpful with working out what went wrong and is very open to feedback on how things can be improved. The only thing that would take this app to the next level would to be able to make changes in bulk to the shipping rates, as at the moment we would have to go manually through all of them and due to us having rates for every individual country this is a lot of work. But I know Parcelify are planning to bring out a lot of features in the future so the app is just going to get better and better!

Parcelify requires access to the Carrier Service API from Shopify, it does not require an upgrade to the Advanced plan. That API is the connection that allows a shop to communicate the order details to shipping apps like Parcelify. Without that we don't get the details of the order and can't calculate rates.

There are 3 ways to get the Carrier Service API:
1) Yes, it comes basic with Advanced Plans
2) If you change your billing on a basic plan to annual billing you get access to the Carrier Service API
3) you can pay for it directly to Shopify.

We also wish it was available by default to all merchants regardless of their plan.

Fantastic app that solved our convoluted shipping rules. The customer service is also top class with quick, detailed, well thought out responses.

App more and more intermittent. We are loosing carts and Support online doesn´t exist. (Easy to install? yes. Simple to use? Yes., Trustworthy? No. Is not first time with this issue.)
