I discovered Printify while trying to turn my sublimation mug business into something more automated so I didn’t have to do as much work. I was also wanting to expand my product line to phone cases so Printify seemed like the logical choice. I did a little bit of research and it seems Printify is the cheapest I could find. I’m just starting out and I didn’t want to jack my website prices up, so I decided to give them a try.

With that said, this app isn't perfect. Sometimes product images won't load, preferences won't save in product generator, and you can't import your entire store (I had to do everything by hand which took FOREVER). There are other random minor bugs as well.

I wish they offered more colors (like black for the razorback tank), and a couple more products (tote bags would be amazing)!!

It seems like I’m pointing out a lot of negatives here, but I actually like this app. Especially since I didn't know something like this even existed! They seem to have great customer service and have gotten back to me relativity quickly every time I’ve had a question or a bug to point out.

I ordered a mug and phone case sample and both exceeded my expectations. I sublimate my own mugs for my business at home, and their mugs were the same quality as my own. Most sublimated mugs I've seen are pretty crappy quality so I was impressed.

The product generator sometimes is a bit slow, but I think it's well done and easy to upload your own designs. Anyone could do it.

I still have yet to make a sale using Printify, but I'm hoping that when I do, the products they send my customers satisfy my high standards. I’ve spent countless hours uploading and converting my current products into products for this app, so I hope all the hard work pays off.

I think this app would be ideal for anyone with a smaller store, or only a few designs they are trying to sell. If you already have a huge inventory (like my mugs for example) that you are trying to update over to Printify to fulfil and print, I hope you enjoy long hours and the computer re-designing all your mugs to fit their template.

I think this app has a lot of potential. I’m sure it will only get better with time as they are only in the beta stage.

I will update my review after I've had sales. I was also thinking of ordering a shirt sample.

The app works well to create a vast array of products and styles. The samples are good quality and came packaged very well. The shipping fees are good but do not integrate readily into Shopify (Shopify issue more than the app). So, flat shipping is the basic alternative unless you pay more for variable shipping. The cost of the products is a little high making the end product on the pricey side for some buyers. Tweaking the margins will help but will require more volume to meet goals, costing more in marketing etc.

I have been using this POD service with our main brand on another account for almost a year now with over 1,000 orders and I can tell you one major thing about printify: if you want to make a quick buck, go with printify. If you want to build a brand, go with printful.

First lets talk about shirt quality. If you use DJ thru Printify the quality is decent. If you use mylocker it is horrifyingly bad. I cannot stress this enough. Faded, poor color, often late shipments. Printful quality exceeds DJ and by a country mile, mylocker.

It's also worth noting that printify is just a middle man operation, whereas printful is an actual company printing the shirts. This matters particularly if you use multiple POD vendors thru printify (mylocker, DJ, etc) and a customer orders products from each -- you're having to pay shipping from EACH vendor. All because Printify is a middle man.

You will wait 1-2 hours for a support reply on printify. You will wait, at most, 5 minutes on printful. Even as a middle man they drop the ball here.

There are branding options at printful like inside labeling, package inserts, and more.

There are affordable express shipping options at printful. I kid you not, to express ship ONE SHIRT thru printify costs $34, domestic. Printful it costs $6.

I can go on and on, I only wish I switched to Printful sooner. Yes you will pay more for the shirts, but you will have a chance to succeed as a brand. You will be very challenged to succeed as a brand with Printify. The customer service and quality are very poor. Make the choice.

I'm updating my previous review because the upgrade fixed some of the complaints I've had with their design system.Like being able to make the pricing uniform across colors and sizes. Yay for listening!

It's much easier to use now but there are still things that could use work - like the Leave a Message button to contact them is right on top of the save button.

The Tag issue still needs work. Every other program can separate by tabs but this one requires hitting Return instead and you cannot copy and paste which is a big pain to have to retype tags on similar products.

The upgrade also wiped out all of the Tags I had added in Shopify so now I have to go back and retype every single tag again (see lack of copy and paste feature above) but I am glad to see they are improving their app. I hope it continues.

Buyer Beware!

Update!
After being promised that they fixed their printing issues, its gotten worse.
4 out of 4 item were printed over multiple times, these guys have ZERO quality control. Im going to Tee Launch and Printful for better service and products.

So we just ordered (Payed for samples, and I'm glad I did before turning over (what looked like among mocks) their products to our customers. First we ordered a zip up hoodie, logo was as cheap and "knock off" looking as you can get. It looks like someone printed it in their car! And that zip up hoodie had a big clump of thread knotted up and stitched into the chest. Cant get it out.
second, we ordered some flip flops as sample (we sell tons of flip flops so this is going to hurt their pocket for sure) and the samples we received had our logo struck twice. THESE GUYS HAVE ZERO QUALITY CONTROL. Be Carful before you let them drop ship garbage to you customers.

and the forms you have to fill out remind me of the 1990's, like really? Cant build in a link within the order?

I like Printify because they have black mugs, I cannot find black mugs on any other supplier right now. I do not like printify because out of the two mugs i've sold so far one arrived busted. I refunded them my self and will probably be removing their products from my store after seeing how hard they are to work with based on other reviews here.

I really love the app. Great quality garments and easy to use interface..... only thing is I’d like to see more options when it comes to men’s clothing; joggers, all-over print shorts, etc...

Wow this is easily the worst app in the store, stay right away from it! The manufacturers have the worst quality in the industry and customer service takes days and days to answer. Do it yourself you will be better off.
