Live chat assistant saved the day as the connector that syncs transactions was having issues since a major upgrade.
I was able to get it resolved with the kind help of Sherwin who advised me that there was an active issue the developers are working on.
The solution for now was to roll-back to the previous version and sync from the date of thee last successful import.
Sherwin also kindly fixed issues with some transactions that could not initially sync using the old connector.
I hope the new version get's fixed soon :)
