We've been lucky enough to work with Meni and the Findify team on the beta test of this amazing app. The app really fills a hole in Shopifys system and is a real must have for all stores.
We had to modify our theme slightly and install a search box instead of an 'overlay' search function which we did oursleves. The app works perfectly if you have an overlay type search but it looks much cleaner with a standard search box. Customers are presented with very clean and crisp looking search results as they type and the 'search suggestions' given to customers is a really nice touch. Then there is the ability for customers to filter their search on the results page (if they didnt click directly on a product from the search box) this is also a must have feature, we've tried the specific filter apps from the app store and always been slightly disappointed, the built in filter here though is great.
The thing we love the most about this app though is the ability to easily see products your customers are searching for; 'zero results searches' so you can look out for gaps in your store and then add those products.
All of this is backed up by amazing customer support form Meni and the team, they have been a real pleasure to work with and their turnaround time on customer support is second to none!
We dont often write app reviews, but the customer support, clean interface and behind the scenes features really warranted making the effort. We cant recommend this app enough to all store owners.
