It’s definitely challenging to compete when the product pricing is significantly higher than what customers can find elsewhere. Whenever I find an item I’m interested in selling, I do a Google search to compare pricing, and I often see competitors offering the same or very similar products for 20–30% less. That makes it difficult to price competitively while still maintaining a reasonable margin.
