Searchanise Search & Filter

I’ve contacted the app’s support team several times, but no one has provided me with any updates.

I also reported that there is an issue with the search results:

On the Thai homepage, searching for “Benedict” shows “Benedict Earrings”, but the product image and product page are actually for a Duffle Bag.
On the English homepage, searching for “Benedict” shows “Duffle Bag Navy”, which is completely unrelated to the keyword.

The search results are clearly incorrect, but I have not received any update from the support team.

We have been using Searchanise for a while and have had a very good experience with their support team.

They have always been very helpful whenever we needed assistance customising the app to suit our store. On several occasions, they have gone beyond standard support and made custom changes so that Searchanise works properly with our existing Shopify setup and the way our current systems are configured.

Communication has always been clear and they take the time to understand exactly what we are trying to achieve rather than just giving us a generic solution.

Most recently, they helped us replicate some custom pricing logic from our Shopify theme within the Searchanise results and provided a solution that worked with our existing setup.

Very happy with both the app and the level of support we have received.

Searchanise support has been excellent. We had a fairly complex custom requirement and their team dug into the detail, built a tailored solution, and explained it clearly at every step. They even flagged a configuration issue on our end that we hadn't spotted. Fast responses, real technical skill, and they clearly care about getting it right. Highly recommend.

Update (Upgraded to 5 Stars): Outstanding Support & Proactive Improvement!

We had initial doubts, but after about two months with Searchanise, our sales and orders are noticeably up and shoppers are finding products much more easily.

I’m updating my original 4-star review to 5 stars because of their exceptional team.
I reached out regarding a few quick adjustments I needed, and support handled them immediately.

More importantly, I previously mentioned that the backend UI was confusing and felt like a hindrance with constant upsells when you're just trying to get work done.
Their team actually listened , they passed my feedback directly to their product team and confirmed they are actively working on making the admin experience smoother, cleaner, and more intuitive for merchants without constant hard-selling.

It’s rare to find an app partner that not only delivers great sales results but also listens to merchant feedback and takes real action to improve the user experience.

I'll just add that this app beats the Shopify generic Search & Discovery hands down. It's more customisable, gives better results, and better insights into customer search behaviour.

Where is the support?

You have 1217 reviews and mainly positive but I CANNOT contact you even by some chat?

I can't even submit a question to you on your "help" facility in shopify becuase the SUMBIT button does NOT WORK!!!

As I cannot submit my query on the proper support page I have no choice but to put it here:

I want the look and feel of the search results page on our website, **lemonsalt.co.uk**, to remain exactly as it is. I don't want Searchandise to override our existing UI for displaying products, articles, recipes, or other search results.

To achieve this, I disabled the widget on the **Search Results Widget** page. Once I did that, our own search results layout was displayed correctly, which is exactly what I wanted.

However, I noticed something unexpected: **recipes and articles built with PageFly are no longer returned in the search results.** They only appear when the **Search Results Widget** is enabled.

Is there a way to access Searchandise's indexed content (particularly PageFly pages) while continuing to use our own search results UI? In other words, can Searchandise provide the search index and results data without taking over the presentation layer?

I hope to get an answer soon.

We have used Searchanize for several years. This app has great functionality and their support staff is quick to respond and help out with questions and help. If you are looking for a solution, i highly recommend this app.

We’ve been using Searchanise on our Shopify store for a few years now and have found it to be responsive, mobile friendly, and well supported by the team whenever help is needed.

The app was excellent when we first started using it and has continued to improve over time, which is encouraging and helps stores provide a better shopping experience. It is also very detail focused, with useful analytics that are specific to your own store rather than generic reporting.

One feature we particularly value is the CSS customisation option, as it allows the plugin to be tailored more closely to the look and feel of the store. For us, that makes a real difference, as search and filtering are effectively part of the shopfront experience.

Overall much better than boost from the pricing and also functions, also much cheaper than doofinder and nice customer service. Small details dont work, e.g. metafield values are not translatable and the analytics only works if instant search is activated, but still i can only recommend. top price/value for shopify! incredible amount of functions. a bit scattered, but support helps.

I love this app - it is a game changer. Not only can you choose the customer-facing look and feel of your search, but you can greatly refine the products, categories and more to make sure you are delivering the information to your customers the way you want it!

Plus, get information on missed search terms, not found items and even add synonyms to help your customers get where you want them to go. This app is best in class!
