Searchanise Search & Filter has to be one of the greatest Apps that we are using. Not only does it help our customers find what they are looking for and help us boost our sales the support team is amazing. Damon & Alex worked non stop on figuring out how we could enhance our customers experience on our online store. consistently checking in and troubleshooting with me. Unparalled experience to the built in Shopify Search with amazing support who were able to address a specific scenario in the display of our search results. We have a huge product catalog and many with variants. While it is possible to hide out of stock products, it does not hide variants that are out of stock. This caused a problem that customers would click the "View Product" button and then immediately "Add to Cart" thinking they were getting the variant from Search Results, but in fact they were getting the first available variant on the Product Page. Searchanise support were able to add a strikethrough to out of stock variants on the Search Results page and this has so far eliminated this problem for us!

This addon is versatile and easily customizable - our store contains tens of thousands of SKUs and would not be very user friendly without this level of filtering. Customer support is very responsive when and if any issues arise.

Though there are a few pieces of functionality that I am missing from my old and VERY expensive Search platform, Searchanise has hit the mark on pretty much everything we have needed so far. Support is excellent (thanks Elijah!) - very engaged and willing to dig into our requests to resolve them - or even provide a bit of customization. Thx!

We are a high-volume Shopify Plus retailer operating multiple boutiques in Montreal, and Searchanise plays a central role in our merchandising and search infrastructure.

We invested more than six months integrating the app into our Shopify Plus store, expecting a stable, enterprise-level solution. Unfortunately, the process has been far more difficult than anticipated, primarily due to slow support cycles and recurring technical instability.

Support responses often take close to a week between replies, which turns urgent issues into multi-week resolutions. Even more concerning, several deployed fixes have introduced new problems that were not identified beforehand, creating an ongoing cycle of corrections.

One of the most critical issues at the moment is that customers are seeing sold-out products in search results, with no reliable way for us to control this directly. Because search behavior is fully managed by Searchanise, we depend entirely on their implementation to ensure stock filtering works correctly. This has created confusion, inconsistent filtering between pages, and a poor customer experience.

More recently, after another attempt to correct a previous issue, our French and English search results are no longer aligned. Identical searches between the two languages sometimes show differences of over 200 results. For a bilingual store operating in Canada, this is a major problem and directly impacts merchandising consistency and customer trust.

In one recent case, a correction to stock filtering logic resulted in a larger issue affecting badges and filters. It has now taken over a month of weekly follow-ups, and the matter remains unresolved.

For a business operating at scale — both online and in-store — search reliability is mission-critical. When filters reset automatically, sold-out products appear incorrectly, or search results differ drastically between languages, it directly impacts customer trust, conversions, and revenue.

We genuinely want this partnership to succeed, but enterprise merchants require faster turnaround times, stronger quality assurance before deployment, and proactive technical ownership. We are currently reassessing whether this level of support aligns with the needs of our business.
