application simple et utile
Easy to set up, but lacks basic functions. You can't set a minimum for how long a customer has to subscribe which is silly to me because people can just take advantage of the discount, then unsubscribe right away.

I was very excited to see this app, however I found that it's not usable for websites that sell digital products. This, because the copy 'Delivers every ...' cannot be changed into something more meaningful (like 'renews every...'), especially for the non-EN market. Hopefully this will change in future and I will reconsider using this app.

Shopify Subscriptions
I really, really, really want to be able to use this native subscription app, BUT... there is no way that I can see that a customer can add or remove products from their account portal.
Am I missing something?
Hi, glad to hear you are excited about using the Subscription app!
You can set up customer management in Shopify's customer accounts.
If you have new customer accounts active, customers can log in to their account from your online store navigation and manage their subscriptions. If you have classic customer accounts, then you can share the subscription management url to give customers access to manage their own subscriptions.
Customers with new customer accounts or classic customer accounts can manage their subscriptions by clicking Manage your subscription from your automated subscription email notifications. These are automatically turned on when you download the app and you can edit them from the Settings section in the Subscription section of the app.
Turn on subscription management in your Shopify admin settings to allow customers to manage their subscriptions.
Steps:
From the Shopify admin, go to Settings > Customers.
Under New customer accounts in the Manage subscriptions section, click Turn on.
Optional: You can add the Subscriptions page link.
You can find out more information on the help center here: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/purchase-options/shopify-subscriptions/customer-experience#subscription-management-for-customers
Hope this helps and don't hesitate to reach out to support if you have more questions.

i highly recomment the shopify apps they are easy to use as if compare with other third party apps available on app store
Good in theory, but not quite ready (for me).
I've played around with this and the customer-side is not very intuitive. First, upon checkout confirmation, the 'go to subscriber portal' did not take me to the Shopify subscriber portal (I am currently using another app, but had it turned off for this test). Then, once I did get into the portal, I wasn't able to manage anything other than "skip" following deliveries.
Now, I am a service-based membership model, so I don't have anything to 'deliver', so for future iterations of this app, I would love to be able to change the 'delivery' title on the listing to a custom title. I also need to be able to have a customer purchase, then the system auto-tag the customer (and transaction, ideally), so that I can properly set up the automations I need to provide them discounts to the shop offers as well as other inclusions.
I really would love to utilize a Shopify-native app for my membership, so I won't be getting rid of Shopify Subscriptions yet, but will be watching closely for updates. (Pretty please, Shopify team!)

Easy to set up and use, only been using for a week and already seeing benefits.
Good, the only thing is say you can’t or customers can’t choose the exact date they want the product recurring charge to be on. Hopefully this will come in the next update, other than that’s its good for a free subscription app
Nice, that Shopify makes an own Subscription app which is free, but unfortunately it only works with "new customer accounts" which is pretty bad when you don't want to use these (because of bad brand experience and no design control).
Hi! Whether you are using new customer accounts or classic customer accounts, you can use our subscriptions app. Customers can manage their subscriptions by clicking the Manage your subscription from your automated subscription email notifications.
There are also instructions under the Customer Subscription Management section here on how to add the Manage Subscriptions link to classic customer accounts.
