Simple Bundles & Kits

Fantastic app that has saved me so much time managing inventory! It automatically breaks down bundles so whoever is packing an order knows exactly what goes in, completely eliminating any guesswork.

A quick note regarding shipping: when a main item is broken down into its child components, those individual items inherit the child component shipping rules—which, in many cases, is your store's default shipping setting. As a result, Shopify uses the smaller default package size to calculate shipping at checkout, so the customer is charged that lower rate. However, when you go to buy the actual shipping label for the full bundle, you end up paying for the larger box size. This creates a margin loss unless you account for it directly in your product pricing. Support confirmed there isn't a direct workaround for this behaviour currently. If the app could fix this, I would easily give it 5 stars!

That said, customer support is incredibly responsive and helpful, and I'm very grateful for their support. I haven't found another app that is as good as this one, so I will definitely continue to stick with it. Highly recommended!

Simple Bundles is the best app I've found so far to deal with our complicated bundles. It can manage both multi-sku and volume-discount style bundles using your existing products. It creates (or builds on) a standalone product page rather than a widget/UI add-on like some apps, which is what I needed. You can also update and sync the compare at price on the bundles automatically so if you change the component product compare at price, the bundle compare at price updates, which was a pain point in other apps. You can set the bundle price as a % discount of the component products total or as a fixed price.

The support team went above and beyond to investigate a possible feature for me (integrating with our subscription app, Skio). Although it wasn't fully possible due to limitations of Skio and Shopify, the Simple Bundles team went out of the way to try to develop a solution for me. We will continue using Simple Bundles for our regular on-subscription bundles. Shout out to George especially for his persistent support.

Really amazing support, and the versatility of the app has surprised us! Just reach out to the Simple Bundles team, they are able to do amazing things. We have a bundle with 1 x Fixed product and 1 x Variable product and they were able to show us how to do that, even making a video tutorial.

We have used 'Simple bundles' alongside its sister app 'Freshly' to build our food and drink gift hamper website. The apps enable us to easily create bundles and track our produce across multiple lines, but more importantly the support team have been a fantiastic help in setting things up and even looking into more obscure requests and app features that we required.

We added this app to our store. Setup was quick and intuitive. We found an issue about a week or two after, that customers could still add a bundle to their cart that still required more selections. We reached out and had an answer and solution within the settings. Easy peasy.
