Great app, great service!
Classic bait and switch app. The only functionality is a toggle on/off switch for "gift message", "gift wrap", and "gift receipt". There are zero setting options or customization options. When I toggled on the Gift Message option a 2x2 square of a blurry gift icon took up the entirety of my cart. When I contacted support to see if I was missing the menu option for settings or customization, I was told to grant them full access/permission to my shop and that in the mean time they would let their dev team know. Dev team know what? The app is completely useless. The pro subscription advertises the following and none of this is built into the app to use:
Add unlimited paid and free gift wraps
Can appear in the cart and product pages
2 design types: Pop up modal & Checkbox
Fully customizable design to match style
Supports custom checkbox & modal images
Attracts attention with visual animation

We'd like to clarify that our app does include all of the features listed under the Pro plan, including multiple display types (modal & checkbox), full design customization, support for cart and product pages, custom images, and more.
In this case, the app was being tested on a draft theme, which prevented the features and customization options from appearing as expected. Unfortunately, this led to a misunderstanding of the support representative that assisted you, and we agree that the experience could have been handled better.
Our support team only requests theme access when it’s necessary to properly diagnose theme-related behavior.

I needed a gift-wrap option for my Shopify store and found the Super Gift Wrap app to be incredibly small-business friendly. The support team was also very prompt and helpful when I needed assistance setting it up. I’d definitely recommend it to any small business looking to offer gift wrapping.
We have found this app to very helpful. It's easy for us to offer different styles of gift wrap and an easy way for customers to include a gift message with their purchase. They were very quick and responsive to my request to have the options removed from one product from large amount of product offerings. We are a chocolate shop that offers chocolate covered strawberries that are only available for in store pick up and cannot be wrapped.
Great service and simple to use, just works. Limited functionality and customisability. We needed to allocate gifts to specific products but this can't be done on this app. Formatting is a bit weird if you want to add additional text. The devs were surprisingly willing to help and knowledgeable about what can and can't be done with their app, so I commend them for this! Thanks for your service.
Easy to use and the order of "add to gift wrap" increases once this app has been installed on my website. It's also a value-added service for my customer.
Update: Since now they have fixed the issue for me. I'm updating my review. I hope they could do a better job communicating but they did fix the issue for me.
This has to be the worst app ever. The major issue is the developer is impossible to communicate with. They said they can't have a cancel button for the popup, so you have to save your gift option, you can't close the window without saving. How ridiculous. Then I sent them the screenshots over and over again telling them there should a cancel button, they JUST don't get what I mean, or they pretend they didn't see it or something. They are totally lacking both communication skill and technical skills. Avoid at all cost.

You have requested a UI feature that was not supported by our app's current features. Our support representative have explained to you that our dev team will be able to further assist you with that customized implementation, and indeed after a few hours that implementation was successfully deployed for your store. We have emailed you back after the implementation has been deployed, but still haven't heard back.

Simple to install, plug in and easy to make the changes I needed to language/style etc and no coding needed at all to make it look good o
Choice of text colours/fonts and pick your own photo… really simple and effective. Im super happy so far - just what I’d hoped for for my website :)
