I have been using since 2019. Worked well no complains. They kept increasing prices. I have to say i will stop using the app.

Tidio sucks. They send constant emails saying that your "services have stopped working" in order to get you to upgrade. We fell for it, upgraded, and ended up paying $77/month only to receive additional messages that other services stopped working. They imply that your chat has stopped, but they're just secondary services - but we ended up cancelling because of the pushy, misleading messages. A sleazy way to do business. 0/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
UPDATE : We reached out previously about why we were getting the scare-tactic "services stopped working" emails and were not told then that we could optimize our "subscription so you can focus solely on chat." Nope. We just kept receiving them. This is too little, too late. Your scare-tactic upselling is is the reason that we cancelled and NO WAY are we going back, this is much too little much too late. Beware of this from the start if you use this app.

The reason you were receiving these messages is that, for example, your flows were triggering for every visitor, which quickly consumed your quota. Tidio is a great application for those who want a more robust chat widget. I think businesses will really enjoy the easy navigation as well!
Bad and incredibly expensive. It promotes itself by placing its rights, and if you want to remove them, you have to pay a lot. It is not suitable for everyone with an average or lower budget. I advise using cheaper alternatives.

It's a really poor design and user experience. They really just want to upsell you to pay for the premium rate, which is so expensive. It's basically impossible to use without that. I tried, paid, and canceled.

I have found Tidio to be a great AI chatbot. There is a low learning curve for creating or altering chats. When I received an email about a potential issue, customer and tech support reached out, explained the possible issue, and did a quick fix to set things straight.

App works ok, but its absurd that removing the Tidio branding costs more per month than using the tool itself.
Not to mention very expensive to use the welcome bots and automation flows. For a small store to use them, you'll be paying more than your monthly Shopify fee.
