He is demanding $30 a day for a TikTok ad with absolutely no possibility of making changes it’s mind-boggling. I'm starting to wonder if this isn't some scam.
The app wont verify me, it just goes round in circles and it has been doing this for months, I was told i can't link because I am in a probation period as a new seller however I want to be able to bulk upload my items so I can sell them to be able to achieve all the targets to get our of probation.
As a small business owner, my experience selling on TikTok Shop has been nothing short of a nightmare.
A simple shipping adjustment automatically canceled 4 of my orders and fully refunded customers, even though every order had been shipped and delivered. I provided tracking and delivery confirmation as evidence, yet support responded with nothing but templated replies and policy deflections. I fully absorbed the losses as the seller.
To make matters worse, my legitimate licensed products were repeatedly flagged as counterfeit, while a quick browse of the platform reveals countless sellers listing items with no licensing rights whatsoever. The enforcement is selective and inconsistent.
After multiple escalations, it became clear that TikTok Shop's support system is designed to protect customers, which is understandable. Still, it offers virtually no meaningful protection for honest, good-faith sellers.
I have since removed all my products and closed my store. I would not recommend TikTok Shop to any small business owner until they invest in a seller support system that is fair, responsive, and consistent.
I decided to remove all of my products from TikTok Shop through my Shopify admin due to the extremely poor support experience.
It is nearly impossible to get help when issues arise. There is no phone support, the chat support does not work properly, and emails go unanswered. For a platform handling real businesses and real revenue, this level of support is unacceptable.
As a business owner, I need reliable and responsive assistance when problems come up. Unfortunately, TikTok Shop does not provide that. Until they significantly improve their customer support, I cannot recommend this app to other merchants.
The app wont verify me, it just goes round in circles and it has been doing this for 18 months, you would think that they would have done an update to correct it by now.
I reached out for help using support to sort it and after 5 days still no reply!
The app doesn’t work and the support aren’t bothered!
Honestly, TikTok Shop has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever dealt with.
Trying to get support is incredibly frustrating—they’re not helpful at all. Out of all the platforms and apps I’ve used, this one easily ranks as the worst. Everything just goes in circles, and when something doesn’t work, there’s no clear way to actually get it fixed.
If everything runs smoothly for you, consider yourself lucky. But if you ever need support, be prepared—you might not get anything resolved.
Really disappointing experience overall.
It was really hard to maneuver through the app. Had to disconnect and reconnect once to start over. I am still new here and I was not aware of TikTok generating ads using my products that I was not aware of and when I would click on the promote which I was not aware of at the time I was just trying to walk through the app. Then I was charged not knowing that was what I did. I did not a pay scale like I do now so that threw me off.
Legitimate UK registered company, trading since 2013. Account deactivated by a bot with zero explanation. Appeal rejected with a blank reason field. Funds frozen for 90 days. No human support available. Avoid until they fix their automated moderation system — it is destroying real businesses.
Tiktok interface may look daunting, but actually their explainer text guide you through the onboarding process till completion. If any guidance needs further clarification , the contact support feature is always handy
Edit: I am completely lost no one can even view my shop. I had to create two separate accounts and the one with my products is invisible to everyone. I don't think it's even connected to my shopify.
