I really don't like trustpilot, they prey on all businesses by allowing customers to easily leave negative reviews and then they pitch to businesess oh hey pay us $500/mo and we'll make it easier to get better reviews. Absolutely BS. I wish this company would go away

DO NOT PAY TRUSTPILOT A DIME. It is a total scam of a business and scam of a business model. They artificially deflate your review ratings and hide positive reviews from your profile until you pay; it is absolutely illegal. Just look at every review of their own service - it is awful. Brands, do not pay them anything.

This grift should go to $0 - hopefully AI and search destroys their business ...

Very frustrating software, they paywall you reviews if you need to export them for any issues. The limitations compared to other review apps are so apparent if you just check out a few competitors. Few options and unhelpful support. On top of that I get random sales agents calling me trying to sell me their service every month. Terrible highly do not recommend.

The app could really be improved by leveraging Shopify theme sections for each of the TrustBoxes. It's frustrating having to use the TrustBox previewer. Apart from that it works as you'd expect for a review app but given its popularity I would hold this app to a higher standard.

Incredibly unethical/immoral pricing -- completely useless for small businesses. No matter which way they spin it, $259/month to have the BASIC ability to show your score, is insanity.

Used to have a free widget that displayed score, which they removed. They try justifying their prices by the 'features', which a majority of users likely don't want nor care for.

Fake/Non-genuine reviews run rife on Trustpilot. And they do nothing about it to protect businesses. We have 1 star reviews about trainers, we don't even sell trainers... They are not capable to detect and delete spam reviews, they are not capable of detecting competitors lying about their reviews on their website with the help of trustpilot widget, do not ever think paying them 170 eur a month for nothing.
