I was excited to partner with a buy now, pay later app after having no success with AfterPay in Canada. Affirm has TERRIBLE customer service; merchant accounts have no contact number. When you finally get ahold of someone via email, they aren't able to help you anyway.... " uninstall the app and reinstall. Still needs to be fixed!!

The experience was bad. The app was installed, enabled, and active. But, it just never came up as a payment option. I uninstalled app still same problem. I researched and never found a resolution. I just want to offer my customers payment options.
Same Experience As All Other Users - Doesn't work
Probably the worst customer support in the business for this type of app. No one is helping me and when they do reply all they say is uninstall the app and reinstall it. For such a major company, their customer service is subpar at best. Come on! I've had this app and it worked great. Now I have a new theme and it's not working and no one from Affirm is helping. How do you expect to keep your customers if you're not helping them? I need help ASAP with this app. UPDATE: Still no help from support. I would think if you want me to add your app on my store you would provide help besides directing me to a document.
They only have email support for merchants and they don't respond
The Affirm app works just fine. I followed the instructions and was able to add the Affirm messaging in a matter of minutes.
They are definitely self righteous, acting as if they are better than God. From looking at these ratings it is very clear that they don't care about their merchants, just the money they collect from the consumer. But then again the guy who founded Affirm is so rich now he doesn't have to care.
We tried to integrate Affirm to our Shopify store and it was a nightmare.
We provided our banking + verification info only to get an error message.
We created a support ticket and instead of resolving the error, support told us to abandon the current email address and use a new email to make a new business account (makes no sense as our Shopify store is already linked to the original email account we were told to abandon.). After troubling our IT to create a new email address, we got an error and could not create a new business account.
This is a very buggy app, the FAQ is not helpful at all, the customer service is horrible, I am at the verge of just forgoing split payment.
SHOPIFY STORES BEWARE. DO NOT INSTALL AFFIRM. I just had a TERRIBLE experience dealing with them. 1. NO MERCHANT PHONE SUPPORT. Just EMAILS. If SOMETHING IMMEDIATE COMES UP - like FUNDS GOING TO THE WRONG ACCOUNT or SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY, GOOD LUCK GETTING AN ANSWER IMMEDIATELY. 2. INCOMPETANCTY - I changed my account details and had it confirmed, but my funds were still transferred to a DIFFERENT ACCOUNT AND THEY CAN'T TRANSFER THOSE FUNDS BACK TO MY NEW ACCOUNT. 3. NO MERCHANT SUPPORT. 4. I also found their widgets spazzing on my website which confused my customers. DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP.
I am giving this app a 1 star since it is currently not working. I am unable to login via google with an error stating connection refused and when I log in using username and password the app states that it needs to be reinstalled.
