It started off from searching Dropshipping and Fulfilment Services/Suppliers on a google search. After opening a bunch of new tabs and going through a number of websites, most of them seemed either too good to be true, had ineffective and insufficient free plans (meaning that you were better off paying) or they simply didn’t have the best solutions/features for a person’s budget or preference. After a while I was feeling a bit demotivated and annoyed because I was kind of under a time constraint as I would be starting University (or US college) the month after (basically in a couple of weeks) which I knew would limit the time I would have to spend on my business.
After stumbling across DropshipMan and reading through the website I was genuinely shocked but pleasantly surprised about all the features which were very user friendly, useful, and effective especially for a beginner and for someone like me who was a month and a half into their Dropshipping journey. I especially liked how on the same website; they even had a navigation tab for the featured products which gave me a brief idea about what I could be importing into my store very briefly. Although I thought it was too good to be true, I was more than impressed with their range of products and pretty much every section of their navigation menu and their website as a whole.
Moreover, I decided to create an account on their website, but because I already installed their app on Shopify, I had a brief issue with logging in on their website because it said that my account was already created/password error etc. I then took this to the chat support on their Shopify app – I originally drafted it as an email so it was quite long, and I wasn’t expecting an immediate response. However, this is where I met the STAR of the story – this is where I met Sherm (Customer Service Agent). She sorted out the issue very, very quickly (connected my DropshipMan store email to my current account, reset my password etc – got everything working properly). I then bombarded her with like 10 different questions (Sorry Sherm) that I had about DropshipMan and the process etc because before, I used Dsers to import all my prospective products (30+ products).
However, in life you have to aim high and in business you need to benchmark your brand against the best in that industry. What I was currently building up for my brand from the way I designed my store website and from the visions and ideas that God was showing me each day, it was too good to be using Dsers and AliExpress – I needed a proper Dropshipping Agent and Fulfilment Service. Even though my website wasn’t finished, there was still some mandatory business stuff I needed to do, and I hadn’t technically started Dropshipping yet, I already knew my brand would be successful and would scale quickly because good things come to those that wait and God showed me that now was the time!
Anyways, back to the story, I was again pleasantly surprised that Sherm really took her time to answer to each of my numbered questions in great detail, even the ones i sent after she replied to the first batch. I felt so much more confident, happy, and satisfied that DropshipMan was the right service for me and whilst I was waiting for her response, straight off the bat I already found a product on their search products tab that I previously found and imported on Dsers. After seeing it on DropshipMan at a cheaper price with honestly some of the quickest and cheapest shipping methods that I had seen, I was more than confident with using their service. Seeing that kind of confirmed it to me that this was a service that if I took my time with and really explored and used their services, accordingly, would elevate my business and store when launched.
Sherm was such a lovely customer service agent and I felt really at peace talking to her and after our conversation ended. She asked if I could do a survey about how she assisted me today and it took me to the review page. Having had Shopify for a month and a half with about 50+ different apps, some of which I hadn’t even opened yet, some of which I was just testing and exploring around with (which was similar to what I was planning to do with DropshipMan today), I was always hesitant to leaving reviews until I was genuinely satisfied or pleasantly shocked/surprised with the service, the ease of use and the Genuity of the actual Shopify app. So, when I saw that the survey link took me to the review submit page, yes, I was initially hesitant, but God told me that I should leave a review and that this review would basically be a manifestation towards the success of my business and brand. I told Sherm this and I told her that I would rate Dropshipman 5 stars and include her in my review as part of my manifestation. I jokingly asked her if there was anything she wanted me to say about her in particular and she replied with “Thank you for your trust, {my name}. You can say anything as long as it comes from your heart, I will heartily accept it”. She even said “It's my pleasure, {my name}, and thank you so much for choosing us. It's our privilege to have you on our team”. And after I said God bless you to her and have a good day, she even said “God bless you and your business, {my name}”. You see why I’m leaving them 5 stars; this is their customer service team – this is one of their customer service agents! What lovely responses – simple and genuine - really made my day. God bless you again Sherm if you see this! Also, I’d like to give my thanks to Abdullah (Customer Service Representative), after my conversation with Sherm ended, I messaged again to find out her job title to include it in my review (story account) but she was sadly unavailable. However, Abdullah was there and replied to my message and I also promised to mention him in my review too, so thanks again to you Abdullah, may God bless you too.
Overall, I look forward to using DropshipMan to kickstart my Dropshipping business and I pray that me and DropshipMan can become great partners and that by God’s grace, Wealthbrooks will eventually turn into a global brand. This will hopefully be made easier when I upgrade plans with DropshipMan too. I really pray that my business will skyrocket so that I can take care of my family, give back to them and ultimately put us in a better position than we have been in all the previous years before.
Note: This isn’t really a review or a story account anymore, but a prospective testimony to the Lord. I’m only 18, I’m not perfect, I face spiritual warfare, and being a Christian I’m not as religious as I should be or have the most standard relationship with the Lord, but one thing I will always have is faith and spiritual optimism. My message to anyone who genuinely takes their time to read this testimony is that “A wise person thinks about death, but a fool thinks only about having a good time – Ecclesiastes 7:4”. That’s my favourite bible verse and to me it means that you shouldn’t become too consumed or concerned with what the worldly people are doing or with how the majority are living their lives today, you should concentrate on what your purpose is and what legacy you want to leave behind. As soon as you discover that you are different from everyone else, although it can be lonely or confusing, don’t focus too much on what makes you different but why you are different (which is a good thing) and who you are destined to become in this life. I think it’s important to always stay faithful especially when times are tough physically and mentally, to always put yourself and your future first and to always think about what steps are needed to steer your future towards the right direction – the sooner the better. The Bible says we should use whatever gift we have received to serve others, and we can serve God by serving others. I believe that the holy spirit gave me the gift of wisdom and understanding, and that God gave me the gift of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship which is something that I am pursuing today.
In my parents’ tribe/ethnic group, my first name means a “person of wealth”, my last name means “wealth arose/awoken to come, or wealth/status has become many (multiplied) and both my grandfathers’ names mean “wealth has become a new moon” and “wealth has increased/more wealth”. I was given my name for a reason and in Jesus mighty name I will work hard to fulfil this purpose for my family and for my ancestors hence why I called my business “Wealthbrooks” (a name that God told my mum in 2018). I believe that I am the Chosen One and this is where a new chapter in my story begins. Remember the initials - E.D.O, remember the date – Friday 25th August 2023 and remember the name – Wealthbrooks. Good things come to those that wait and God is good all the time...
P.S: After first initially messaging DropshipMan’s chat support at 12:38am, to ending my overall conversation with Sherm at around 2am, to then begin writing my testimony from 2am onwards, it is now currently 4:41am and this concludes the end of my review as my eyes hurt and I deserve some sleep.
