I've loved the convenience of this app for a few years, but I think it may have become abandonware now :( I've been trying to get in contact with support regarding a change from Shopify that seems to have broken this app's shipping calculations for some addresses and not others, but they haven't replied. I'm hoping they see this and I can delete this review, but if they don't reply I'll be forced to switch apps as soon as practically possible.

Been trying to get hold of support via email for weeks now. The Chat is turned off in the app and I don't know how else to get in touch with you. The support for your app was great when Laura was with you, but not sure what is going on now. Please contact us so i can get some help with changing our shipping rates
This is an OK app. It's certainly better than manually processing postage, but it's soooo clunky.
It's just full of needless clicking to do basic things and waiting for screens to load and refresh.
- Updating product sizing is needlessly complicated with minimal tools for bulk operations, and these sizes don't sync with the main Shopify DB or vice versa
- The download Labels button is white, where the Delete button is bright RED. The Delete button is also the right most button. Really bad UI design. Download should be the right most button and should be Blue or Green
- Fulfilment and Label windows default to everything unselected.... Default should be selected. Why would I have just done all the shipping if I didn't want to print out the labels? Default assumption is that after creating a fulfilment, I want to include everything for all following processes.
- Labels - Ditto from above. I shouldn't have to select all when I've just gone through the shipping process to check all dimensions and create the shipment
- No table view for packages in shipment. A tabular view is far more efficient that opening up a window for every single package.
- Bulk options should be available in all subscriptions.
- Should be able to bulk enter packages and deal with orders and bulk fetch prices instead of doing it one-by-one. This shouldn't be a gate-kept feature behind a paywall. It's basic workflow
- Why do I have to name EVRYTHING or at least be prompted? Default names for records (Fulfilments, labels, etc) should be a setting in the app and automated. Asking the user EVERY SINGLE TIME is very inefficient.
- No grouping of packages and no-reordering of package options in the app.
This app is clearly just a cash cow for the developers. The current owners are not the original programmers, and it's clear from the clunky workflow that they're not users of the app either. It could be made way, WAY better, but it's been the same clunky interface for years with no improvements.
I've only listed a few of the issues with the app. There are many more subtle changes that could vastly improve the app.
We've had some incredible help from the team at Addition recently, specifically Laura who has guided us with some very helpful information on the recent changes with Australia Post Shipping to the US. Can't recommend them enough. Thank you!
I spent over 10 hours trying to get everything working today and ended up losing business because of this app. No response from support at all.
The app is clunky generating labels was painfully slow, often taking around 30 seconds per label. Customers were receiving errors saying their address couldn’t be shipped to, even though I tried everything. Some orders would work, others wouldn’t, for no clear reason.
I upgraded the app after using it successfully for 5 or 6 years, hoping to use the new label feature and apply shipping rules like free shipping over a certain amount. That’s when everything went downhill.
No customer support. No live chat. Nothing.
You’re a tech company 24+ hour response times are not acceptable. I switched to “Australia Post Rates & Labels” and they responded immediately and helped me with setup. Honeslty wasted a whole day and lost money stressful to say the least.

We completely understand why you made the decision to switch, and while we regret not being able to support you in time, we do genuinely appreciate the honest feedback. If you're ever open to it, we’d still love to understand more about what happened behind the scenes so we can make sure no one else runs into the same roadblocks. In any case, thank you again for all the time you spent with Addition. We truly value the years you were with us.
We have used this from the beginning. Constant improvement and always being available to assist are the highlights of the app. This is a stable and solid workhorse that we have relied on and never lets us down. Great Value for money and works perfectly for our shipping requirements.

Days of ongoing shipment creation issues with no resolution in sight. The support team has been unhelpful and unresponsive!

Love this app and the support team! Integrates seamlessly with our Shopify and whenever I have an issue the support team are always there to help look into my problem and come up with a solution. If you’re looking for an Australia post plug-in, this is the one!

Finally found an app that does what we intended from the start in a semi elegant way of forwarding customize shipping rates to our customers particularly when we have a wide mix of parcels being sent. What truly sets this company apart for us is the exceptional service provided by Laura. She takes full ownership of her work, which shows in her seamless communication, flexibility in accommodating our requests, and takes the time to understand our business needs as if they were her own. I’d highly recommend them without hesitation!
Absolutely terrible App. All shipping settings deleted overnight without warning and no technical support provided to investigate thoroughly. We are constantly getting messages from customers asking why we don't ship to their country (USA/China/UK) when we have been shipping to those countries for years. App is full of bugs and is now causing us to lose customers as there is only so many times you can apologise to the ones who are unable to order. No phone support at all which should be an instant red flag for anyone reading this. DO NOT USE THIS APP - there are plenty of others out there and I strongly urge you to chose a competitor that actually allows your products to be sold - unlike this one. We sell around 5000 orders each year so this is not simply a few instances.

Your feedback is noted, however our developers fully reviewed your case, and the shipping settings issue was not caused by Addition. Logs confirm there was no removal or disconnection from our side. The app cannot remove itself from your shipping zones without manual action within Shopify. We provided advice on how to escalate this appropriately with the Shopify technical support team.
The missing international rates relate to configuration issues we’ve previously flagged included incorrect package settings and dimensions. Unfortunately, we were unable to investigate the most recent case further as you declined to provide the full cart product details needed to replicate the issue.
As with many businesses, we offer email-based support so we can keep a detailed history of issues and resolutions - including our earlier advice on adjusting package settings to fix rate visibility.
We’re happy to assist further, but we do need full details in order to properly troubleshoot.
