I’ve only had the ‘Auto Currency Switcher’ app installed for a couple of days but so far, so good. It looks very neat and tidy when integrated using the ‘Inline with the Header’ option.
I don’t want to put anyone off using this app, but be aware that you might need to contact support to get the app working with your theme. I use Palo Alto 4.6.3 on my store (Shopify 2.0) and initially nothing happened at all. But just contact support – they are great! I spoke to Shaba Khan via live chat who was superb, extremely responsive and used very clear English. I actually thought I would be talking to a Bot but she was definitely a human!
Because I wanted the switcher to be integrated inline with the header, it did require a bit of extra tweaking by their technical team which took a few hours.
So if it doesn’t work first time and you can wait a few hours, don’t uninstall it, contact their amazing support and they’ll soon have you up and running.
BTW, if you are not 100% sure, the app definitely does automatically change to the correct currency depending on your location – it’s not just a manual switcher.

Have had great support from the developers (timely and accurate) and have also found this app to be the most flexible in terms of what we show our customers - many other apps give you no choice but to show every currency under the sun - this allows very easy changes. Shaba in particular has been awesome.
We worked on the "Free" version to test out the Product before our launch, and faced a minor issue a day before our launch as we purchased the paid version. Shaba from the support team helped us in a jiffy and we were able to go live on time without any issues thus far. Thank you!
Great app. We have an international store and a currency switcher was exactly what we were missing. Amazing support too, replied almost instantly and quickly helped us to position the currency selector where we wanted.
