It's an extremely powerful tool but also complicated to figure out without sidekick. I strongly recommend using it in conjunction with sidekick. Use plain language prompts to have Sidekick build the flows for you then check them.
Ideal for most in-app automations. But it is odd that there is no baked in "When an order is Order is tagged" trigger.

Shopify Flow is a powerful automation tool built directly into Shopify. The visual workflow makes it easy to create welcome emails, cart recovery, and other automations without needing additional apps.
This is a bot - John Doe. It creates several customer accounts everyday. I manually delete the accounts everyday. I am thankful for the workflow that's been created to assist with this process.
Flow is powerful and super useful for automating Shopify workflows without heavy coding. The visual builder is easy to understand, and it helps us set up abandoned browse/cart recovery and internal processes quickly.
Only feedback: error messages can be confusing sometimes (ex: draft email/blank values conditions). If Shopify adds clearer guidance + auto-fix suggestions inside the workflow, it will be perfect.
Overall, must-have app for any store that wants speed + automation.
