It's praised for its seamless integration with platforms like Klaviyo and Google, sleek design, and variety of review collection tools. The customer service is noted for its responsiveness and expertise. Merchants value the customization options, mobile-first reviews, and the ability to incentivize reviews with coupons. I'm giving this app a lower review because it is missing something that is critical to my needs, not because the app is not good otherwise. It simply won't work for a store like mine.
Functionality was good. But then we started getting complaints from customers who were worried about the way Junip was displaying their names on reviews. Junip is only able to display full first name and last initial. For customers with unique first names this was leading to concerns about being "outed" in a public forum.
I reached out to Junip support to find out how to change the name display to first and last initial, a convention which is standard in other review apps. I was told that they were not willing to make changes to the way names display at this time. We are in a more sensitive market, and this makes the app unusable for us, and I believe other merchants may wish to know of this limitation prior to investing time and money setting up Junip.
Very easy and intuitive to use! The support from the Junip team is extremely helpful and fast. Made our migration over from Yotpo seamless.
Great support and implementation help. The app itself is simple to navigate, and appears to be relatively lightweight in terms of its footprint on our store. It's missing some of the bells and whistles that the like of Stamped and Yotpo have (i.e. customer Q&A, UGC management is fairly basic), but in some ways that's a good thing. I think over time Junip will continue to improve, as opposed to the other platforms I mentioned, which just seemed to get bloated, and unreliable over time. Being able to send the review requests from Klaviyo is great, and Junip's mobile-first approach seems to resonate better with our customer base.
Junip is a great review app, their on site widgets, review interface and mobile friendliness really make it stand out from the rest of the apps out there. The free plan is great if you are just starting out. They also have live support available on their back-end admin side which is really helpful.
Junip is marvelous. Very easy to install and get set up, and the back end is very intuitive. It looks great on our site, and the experience for people leaving reviews is very smooth. I highly recommend migrating to Junip if you're not happy with your current reviews provider. Very affordable, and frankly it functions way better than other review platforms I've used. It's rare in my experience for a Shopify app to work this well right out of the box. And their customer support is beyond stellar. Great work team, keep it up!
Easy to use! Great customer service from Malvina.
Exactly what you are looking for in a great Shopify app -- does exactly as advertised (and more) along with top notch customer service to ensure super easy implementation. So glad we switched reviews providers to Junip.
This is great! I'd just like to be able to choose the order of reviews for my homepage rather than just leading with the newest one first, as it is not good to get a 3* review as the leading review on a carousel when there are loads of 5* reviews. In fact this kills sales, so I end up having to reject reviews even though I really don't want to have to do this! Maybe a "pin" function would be good so the first 8 or 10 reviews can be chosen?
I'm probably one of many "refugees" abandoning the sinking ship that is Stamped and finding a new home. Customer Service was super helpful with onboarding, getting my reviews imported properly, and all my various questions. The review widget itself is much lighter than Stamped resulting in faster speed times for my pages. LOVE the ability to send the review requests via Klaviyo. The admin has great UX and very user friendly.
Features I wish they had or would add:
-Native integration with Loyalty Lion to be able to give rewards points for reviews
-UGC carousels integrated with social media channels to pull tagged photos over from and create carousels from those photos
We have been using another review app since we started and over time the app got more expensive and metrics related to reviews have been subpar. Been meaning to switch to a different review app but it's been on the back burner because of the amount of work that is required. However, Junip made it extremely easy to switch with their white glove onboarding support. Malvina in particular has been tremendously helpful to migrate from the old app and configure Junip to our specific needs. We could not have asked for a easier onboarding process, time will tell if Junip can deliver better performance but we are extremely confident in the team.
