Onsite didn't work in the beginning but customer service was really fast and fixed it. Thank you! 5 star for customer service, but need to take one of from struggle in the beginning.

Guys...it’s 2020 why do I feel like I’m trying to build a gaming computer from scratch?? I, like many others have stated will just stick with quadpay and their flawless installation.

I usually don't write reviews but would give 0 stars is possible. App seems not to work in Canada. To chat with live support you need to log in to the site. But there is no sign up option. Only log in. So how do I log in if I never signed up?! Their customer support number is based in Egypt and when I call it hangs up after a few rings. I need to Authenticate Klarna API Credentials but these are literally nowhere to be found. Horrible app if you are in Canada.

Sadly this app did not work, Klarna payments did not work. You sign up for the payments on Klarna website - I chose Slice it in 3 where the customer can pay in 3 installments. Shopify support hadn't got a clue what I was talking about - I tried buy now, pay later this worked but not what I want. Seriously Shopify and Klarna how difficult is it to align the service. Both supports promised to get back. My abandonment has gone through the roof now so had to disable Klarna. What a shambles!! Like the other review all looks glossy and well marketed but basically if you can't use it what's the point?

TERRIBLE APP AND TERRIBLE SUPPORT! App doesnt work and doesnt allow you to add the messenger tabs even though it says it does. The support is really bad and you keep being fobbed off. Def not worth the hassel.

I thought the bad reviews were an exaggeration before I downloaded the app. Unfortunty, it's all true nothing works. Can't even access the ad platforms, preview doesn't work for drag and drop and even if you do active nothing shows up.

With themes that don't support Shopify's Online Store 2.0 architecture, there is no consistently compatible way to always inject code for on-site messaging that can work across all vintage themes. We've worked hard to code options to attach to CSS, but depending on the theme, there isn't always a viable way to do so.
Compatibility and consistency are much improved with app blocks, but those are only available for themes that support Online Store 2.0 architecture; more info at: https://docs.klarna.com/platform-solutions/shopify/on-site-messaging-app-for-shopify/install-steps/#add-placements-online-store-20-app-blocks
Regardless of the theme type though, we're happy to support whenever needed. We hope you'll give us the opportunity to get this working for your store.
Appears to be working fine - no coding input required and the integration was seemless. Not sure what so many people are having trouble with looking at some other reviews!

We've worked hard to improve the app over time, with a major update relating to Shopify's improved theme architecture for Online Store version 2.0, which enables our app to integrate better with themes using App Blocks, and avoids many of the issues merchants had previously.

While I see that Klarna's On-site messaging app is installed, I don't see it active on your storefront yet. If you email our support team at skosm@klarna.com, someone can review the configuration to help. I've requested collaborator access to your store now to help this process go quicker. Hopefully our team can help get this working for you soon!
Its working pretty good. Only one big problem that i found is Ad blocker and tracking blocker. If my customer use Ad blocker then this app doesn't show at all on the website. That's why this apps is pretty much useless because now days all modern browser use Ad blocker. Can you please KLARNA fix that??

Update (from 2023-Jan-26): discussion this with the Klarna On-site messaging team, not all Ad blockers block Klarna's On-site messaging. Could you please share the Ad blocker that is blocking Klarna's On-site messaging, and Klarna can request that not be blocked?
If you open a support case via skosm@klarna.com (and reference this review) that would be the best way to hopefully see if we can improve this?

It's terrible, you add Klarna to your site you try to add this app for messaging you have to manually put code on every page - when you ask for help they tell you to get a developer. Video makes it sound simple. But in reality it's crap.
