Terrible customer service. We have had this app installed for over 5 years. The app has stopped working from our end as the Shopify store owner, and no-one will help solve the issue!!

I’ve used this app for a while and it’s fairly decent for what it does. But In the past 2 months there’s a bug in the app that causes some features to be missing such as entering birthdays and claiming points. Since that’s the whole point of a loyalty programme. When sent a ticket, I was told I would be given an update but I was not. I asked for an update a few days ago and was told “we have been closed for holidays”. It seems bold took the whole month of Dec off or something because the problem was before this and nothing has been changed. To pay $30 a month to have it not working properly or worked on is low key a scam. I wouldn’t recommend installing the app until it’s fixed. It’s going to be very hard for me to change app so I’m giving it more time. I will update if there’s any improvement.

UPDATE: A Bold lack of loyalty support!

Hello, Bold! It's time for my yearly rant about your support and dev team. I want to start by saying that your teams' (and CEO) lack of respect for clients is mind-boggling. It's like a never-ending saga that keeps getting worse with time.

You've invested thousands of dollars in this app, yet you've let it down for almost three years now. Your team doesn't provide any updates, and as I've mentioned before, you're not interested in fixing any issues either. The latest addition to a long list of incompetence is that we can't even export our database because of a bug.

To make things worse, we can contact support on chat to ask for a CSV, but more than 24 hours later, we still have nothing. It's like waiting for a bus that never arrives. Reason that, sadly, I have to once again use the review page to shake your booty and (maybe) get support.

Bold's CEO, I'd like to give you some advice: if you're no longer interested in maintaining this app, just shut it down. Looking at your current strategy and investment, it's maybe better for you to focus on one app or connected apps than to have too many and not be able to invest in them properly. As for me, after three years of using your app on all our websites, we'll be phasing out Bold and switching to another app with the same features and more exciting design.

In conclusion, Bold, your lack of loyalty support is disappointing, but it's also becoming a running joke. I hope you can take this feedback seriously and make some improvements before the punchline falls flat.

App does not allow you to manage customer points effectively or even extract your own customer data - after being charged over $500 in one month because they had counted EVERY single customer EVER sent points (it is automatically sent to every customer and therefore counted) i asked to extract my data - almost 3 weeks later I still cannot access and they are not sending to me either - excuse after excuse - very angry about this and cannot believe Shopify support this

I had an issue with customers being able to redeem points and it did take a few days to resolve the issue due to delays in response to my emails but Michelle was very helpful and helped me through it in the end. I do think response time could be better improved.
