We experienced the same issue. More than 60 collections were deleted across several of our stores, and it will take days to rebuild everything.
What is particularly concerning is how an email app, which otherwise performs well in its core function, has the ability to delete critical store data. This should simply not be possible....
Will need compenstation for this.
