We’ve been working closely with you in detail on this, reviewing the full dataset from Etsy. Based on the analysis, a significant portion of reviews (~32%) do not contain text, and Etsy’s API also limits how reviews are mapped when multiple listings or variants are involved. This can make the sync appear incomplete at the product level, even when a large portion of reviews has been successfully imported.
To address this, we proposed a solution using product grouping, which allows reviews from similar or identical products (e.g., multiple listings or variants) to be displayed together on Shopify. This helps ensure your key products reflect the full volume of reviews they’ve received on Etsy.
