It's been generally positive, although there are some weak points.
1. The upload speed is very slow. I am uploading approx 4gb videos and it takes ages, compared to uploading to e.g. Google Drive or Dropbox or WeTransfer.
2. There is no way to automatically send a download email to anyone who has pre-ordered a video. i.e. the customer preorders before the video is upploaded to Digital Downloads.
3. The 5GB limit is a bit limiting. I am selling performance videos and it means I have to limit the video quality for longer shows.
4. There is no way to set up an alert when, for example, a customer downloads a video a certain number of times or tries to download it from overseas. Limiting the number of downloads presents support problems as many customers try and download to a phone and the video starts streaming. They use up their limit quickly and I have to get involved to sort it out.
5. Overall, the app feels clunky, but it just about satisfies my requirements, and it's included at no extra charge. I certainly wouldn't want to pay for it.
