Seal subscriptions has been amazing and very happy I switched. Customer support (Peter) is extremely responsive and more than willing to help with any request I have. My customers have also enjoyed how easy it is to manage their subscriptions. Highly recommend!

Great customer support, quick to help us set up and integrate on our website! Their documentation to setup or troubleshoot has also been easy to follow and all questions were resolved. If you are starting with subscription management from a small customer pool and projecting to grow, this is the right tool.
Too bad Shopify Payments doesn't offer subscription functionality. Seems like such a logical extension. Seal is fairly intuitive and affordable for the small business to set up and administer, but Shopify order numbers are different, so we have to do a lot of toggling back and forth between these apps during fulfillment time or when responding to customer questions. And as businesses grow, increased capacity and functionality is gated by paywalls, so merchants should be aware of that happening more quickly than expected. Once the business get to a certain size, OOTB reporting becomes very limited and support is not real-time for the US. Agents are in Europe. Given the subscription service is storing customer information to automate renewals, merchants that have aspirations of managing 1,000+ subscriptions with multiple products may want to consider a service with better reporting and analytics that may be initially more expensive, because switching to another provider later could damage retention rates during a change.
