Seal Subscriptions App

So far this service has been everything I've needed to keep our subscriptions going. I was loosing subscribers annually, and this service has set things up seamlessly with my Shopify store.

This subscription app has been such a great addition to my Shopify store! The setup was incredibly easy, and I love that it gives my customers the option to subscribe and save without making the shopping experience complicated.

The app is clean, user-friendly, and does exactly what I need it to do. It’s also been a great way to encourage repeat orders while giving my customers an added incentive to stay stocked up on their favorites.

I especially appreciate how seamless the integration with Shopify is. Everything feels professional and on-brand, and I didn’t have to spend hours trying to figure things out. Definitely recommend this app to any Shopify store owner looking for a simple, effective subscription solution!

Great app! We've been using it for a while and have had no issues. I recommend allowing customers to be automatically charged the full price of an item if they cancel their subscription before completing the minimum required number of shipments. This is the only reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5. I understand they wouldn't allow a customer to self-serve to cancel or modify a subscription before completing the minimum number of shipments; however, this is a drawback because customers always like to be in control of their subscriptions.

The app is straightforward to set up, works reliably with Shopify, and gives us the flexibility we need to manage recurring orders without making things complicated for our customers. Managing, pausing and adjusting subscriptions is simple from both the customer and admin side.

The support team has also been responsive and helpful whenever we’ve needed assistance.

Overall, Seal Subscriptions has been a reliable and cost-effective subscription solution for our store. Definitely recommended for Shopify merchants looking to add subscriptions without unnecessary complexity or cost.

I had been putting off setting up subscriptions because every subscription system I’ve used in the past felt unnecessarily complicated. Seal was the complete opposite. Setup was incredibly simple, straightforward, and intuitive. I selected my products, configured the options I wanted, and everything appeared beautifully on my product pages with very little effort. I had the entire system up and running far faster than I expected. This is exactly how a Shopify app should work! Powerful without making the merchant fight with it. Highly recommended!

Lacks proper explanations of features and how they work/what they do.

I turned on the retry credit card if the auth failed.

So it retried 10x and left 10 different pending transactions on their credit card statement.

So I got a $150 chargeback. And I'm a new store so the $150 is the last of my worries. The dispute % is.

Good otherwise.

Giving one star for the significant impact this can pose for my payment processor health.

Hand App, useful for my automated subscriptions. Would like it to be more affordable wiht more features available but happy with it for a basic plan.
