We have been a ShipBob customer for over two years, but this has been one of the worst fulfilment experiences we have had.
ShipBob lost one of our inventory shipments, then repeatedly delayed receiving and stocking the replacement shipment despite assuring us it would be prioritised. Our customers were left waiting for weeks, forcing us to issue refunds, lose subscription customers and pay for express shipping to try to repair the damage.
Support responses were mostly generic apologies, references to internal SLAs and requests for “continued patience,” with no clear ownership or reliable completion date.
ShipBob eventually offered a credit for the manufacturing cost of the lost inventory, but this does not cover the lost sales, refunds, additional shipping costs or reputational damage caused.
The lack of urgency, accountability and communication has been extremely disappointing.
I had a poor experience using ShipBob and would suggest small businesses look for a different provider for warehousing and fulfilment. Keep looking.
BEWARE!
We started fulfilling through ShipBob in October 2025 and it has been the worst decision we have made since launching the business. One of the carriers that was included in the ship-option was Amazon Shipping. ShipBob has shipped so many (at least 50%) of our orders via Amazon Shipping and it has been an absolute nightmare! All of our inventory is at ShipBob's FC in Las Vegas and all ordered shipped through Amazon Shipping initially travel to San Bernandino, CA. Most orders sit in San Bernandino for a few days without any updates. That is the case even if the shipping address is southern California. For East Coast shipping addresses, they eventually start moving east (that's if they ever start moving). Even if the final destination is Texas, Amazon will move the packages to Alabama or Tennessee. The packages will then sit there for another few days. In the meantime, customers are furious that Amazon either provides no updates or they never deliver. We then reach out to ShipBob for answers except ShipBob never escalates the issues to Amazon for updates.
After weeks of complaining to ShipBob and asking them to remove Amazon Shipping from our carriers list, they finally respond and suggest a new rate sheet that will literally cost us 22.47% more to exclude Amazon from the list. We are speechless! This was the response after ShipBob actively pushed us out for several weeks while we were dealing with customer complaints and having to ship replacement units at our own expense (because ShipBob has a 30-45 day window you have to wait for before you become eligible to file a claim).
We are scaling quickly and ShipBob has done a good job losing the opportunity to build a long term relationship with us.
p.s. Good luck trying to reach the salesperson at ShipBob for support. They disappear once you sign up with them.
I would not recommend Shipbob to my worse enemies. We are a small company currently growing and the amount of issues we have to deal with makes zero sense. We are calling support EVERY WEEK to handle issues made by them. They don't care and repeat the same mistakes. Even though customer service is very kind, I am starting to recognize their voices from calling so often. They make mistakes with deliveries, with packing, they break my items and don't tell me, they ship broken items, etc.
As a business owner, you want to trust who is handling your product. Shipbob is not trustworthy.

It's been a nightmare. Their fullfilment is almost double of what you see on shopify. In addition they lost packages at their wearhosue. The worst part is that often their orders are not going out 2 or 3 days after fulfillment. I am getting inventory out right now. Read all the negative reviews but wanted to give them a chance. Not wroth it. And all support is in India via email. Don't do it.
I'm really sorry to hear about your experience — this isn’t the level of service we aim to provide. I completely understand your frustration with the delays and lost packages.
We're prioritizing your inventory transfer and escalating your feedback internally. If you're open to it, I'd love to connect and see if there's anything we can do to make this right.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. - Karley
Don’t use ShipBob if you want to sell in the UK.
They have blocked my orders for two months now, due to re review of duty paid (which we have shared documentation for).
We missed out on Black Friday and Christmas sales and it’s destroying our small company.
I respect the need for compliance, but it’s been two months since we sent documentation and ShipBob has stopped responding. Unacceptable.
The shipping app connects seamlessly and the platform is very easy to setup and track all my orders - would definitely recommend to businesses starting out since they have a very low monthly minimum order quantity
Manas Kakkar, the implementation consultant that guided me through the premium onboarding implementation phase process was an outstanding and a terrific mentor who displayed excellent proficiency of the subject matter, effective communication skills and outstanding training aptitudes. He provided valuable guidance throughout the sessions, and I believe I gained enough knowledge to easily manage my business operations with your platform.
Don't often write reviews but feel an obligation to warn other business owners. Shipbob were very good during the sales process but as soon as we started operating they were useless. We are a UK based business and intended to use shipbob to fulfil EU orders (post brexit).
However, despite following shipbob's UK to EU stock transfer process, our shipments were always fraught with crossborder issues. Our stock transfers were always at least 4 weeks late due to incompetency on shipbobs end. It seemed like shipbob had never onboarded a new customer before, crucial information which cost us thousands of pounds was missed and all the problem solving had to be done from our end due to shipbob often not responding to us or couriers.
We used the service for three months and do not recommend for UK businesses looking to oursource their international fulfilment
