Sadly we had the worst 6 months ever using this app, The support gave terrible advice, we had to figure out most things on our own, had constant problems and had to manage a huge mess while deleting them from our software to integrate a new system. It was pretty stressful.
This is extremely sad to hear. I personally (Nicholas) had reached out and chatted with Taylor on a couple of the setup issues which were related to billing setup (there was a bug we needed to resolve) along with some settings that were incorrectly configured. As a team that sees a reflection of our work through our customers, a 1-star review is hard to take as we typically get it right. We're sorry we were not the solution for you.
ShipHero solved a huge fulfillment problem we were having and has allowed us to efficiently track product lot codes by shipment. Matt was extremely helpful during onboarding and open to unorthodox solutions/ideas to solve the problem we encountered with other software. We previously tried 4-5 other cloud inventory management/fulfillment "solutions" that did not solve anything for us - including ShipStation and Trade Gecko. ShipHero is our inventory and shipping hero :)

We've been using Ship Hero for about a year now and are thrilled. The biggest thing when comparing it to other solutions is that it's intuitive and streamlined. As a team of millennials we've found many of the other solutions out there were simply too clunky, time consuming and outdated.. we LOVE using ship hero and are excited to continue to grow with them.
Their support has been some of the best we've experienced in our 3 year history -always pleasant, knowledgable and willing to dig into any issues that arise. Although there have been a number of integration hiccups, as soon as they've been identified support is on it and doesn't stop until it's resolved. Extra credit needs to be given to Nicholas who somehow always finds the time to respond and make sure we're taken care of regardless of the situation. It's very clear that they intend to continue growing by providing an awesome product and the proper support to go along with it.
Very scalable- Prior to Ship Hero we were doing a lot of things manually and were always a little concerned about our ability to scale. Ship Hero has completely changed our whole warehousing system and has given us the confidence to scale as quickly as we want. We think it's a great solution for small, mid-size and large companies. Once you make the switch and learn the platform you'll never want to go back.

In early 2018 we replaced Stitch Labs, our previous Inventory Management Software, with ShipHero. Prior to ShipHero, our Customer Service team was spending hours printing orders. We had a team of Order Checkers doing nothing but checking orders that had been pulled by our 1st team of order pullers to ensure the integrity of the order. We also were having to use a second software platform, ShipStation, to handle the actual shipping process.
With ShipHero, we were able to eliminate all of this. Thanks to paperless order picking via barcode scanning, we no longer print and staple orders for hours every day. Since every product gets scanned before it gets added to a bin, we were also able to transition our entire team of order checkers to other positions which immediately made us more productive. And as for the shipping process, we were able to eliminate a second software charge because ShipHero handles the process from start to finish.
Now, only because it’s my second nature to always be looking for something better, in March of 2019 I began participating in demo’s of other inventory management systems. We looked in depth at Veeqo, Tradegecko, BrightPearl, SKUvault, OrderHive, Zoho and Clear Spider. All of these systems had their strengths and weaknesses but due to BIG promises of a more streamlined workflow and better reporting, we left ShipHero and went with SKUvault. Needless to say, after 2 months of ‘Training and Implementation’ and 3 weeks Live operating the software, it was not what we had hoped for. We were spending 2x longer preparing orders because each order had to be assigned to a session. We were spending 2x longer pulling orders due to the additional steps involved. Our ‘Just in Time’ dept was spending 3x longer preparing orders because the workflow was too complicated and time consuming. Granted, SKUvault attempted to help us work through all of this but, in the end, the functionality was inefficient.
The reality of all of this is that none of these systems came close to matching the functionality and efficiency of ShipHero. ShipHero welcomed us back with open arms and got us up in running again in just a couple of days. Yosef and the entire team at ShipHero came together to make it happen. We now have our wholesale and retail sites connected back to ShipHero and plan to add our brick and mortar next.
The nightmare is over (as every team manager in my office/warehouse has told me).

30K+ orders per month. We recently changed to ShipHero from another well known shipping software, and it has really done well at minimizing order errors. We ship a little slower since we elect to scan the items on pick, then re-scan when we pack, but that process can be modified. The labels (when doing single item batches) aren't the fastest, but we have the system set to rate-shop every package. We were introduced to an update that's coming and it really sped up this process.
As for support, we have nothing bad to say. They are quick to respond and have worked hard to fix any issues we have seen. There was no down time with orders while we changed software providers. This was my main concern when I saw that there wasn't a direct customer service line, so I set up a meeting to discuss this ahead of time. They explained that customer service issues that are causing a delay in orders going out is always a priority and will be handled quick, while issues that are like-to-haves or lower priority items are handled a little slower (which is understandable). Someone from their implementation team traveled in to help us launch successfully and we are thankful they did. We had a ton of issues and it wasn't ShipHero.. it was how the old software communicated fulfillment statuses to the orders in Shopify.
All-in-all, the software is great. There are a lot of features we would like to see, some of them are already in the works. In our opinion, this system is the best value for 3PL softwares. We were actually $25,000 deep in setup and another $30,000 in equipment, trying to make another 3PL software work for us. Most we looked at were not as user friendly (you needed an advanced degree in coding software to set up), most needed additional software to function how we needed which costs more, and some didn't even have the ability to show an item image for our packers.
ShipHero makes the picking process so efficient and the platform is easy to use. Our team caught on very quickly & the app allows us to track where mistakes are being made so we can complete further training with that user. We love being able to track where the orders are in the shipping process. We found that ShipHero's support team was very responsive during onboarding, even helping us customize our invoice and an internal Ship to Store label. We definitely appreciate the level of support they've provided
Okay system - Not the best because that it has to many small errors. The support is crazy bad. Long delay on reply to my mails and sometime we don't get any feedback on our e-mails.

Although we chose to not integrated ShipHero for the particular store we were trying it on, because it was more advanced and feature-rich than we needed at this time, the platform and it's abilities are outstanding. Even more so, the team and support at ShipHero - especially Matt - was worth the 5-star review itself. Their scheduling and onboarding process was very thorough and detailed. The support we received was very good especially for the asking price. I am sure as this store scales ShipHero will likely be integrated at some point, but for now, it's a bit overkill for us.

I reached out to shiphero to request a new field in the Automation Rules, to allow us to have a start and stop time and date for offering our customers a free gift with purchase. After contacting a few apps, shiphero was the only one that offered a solution. Now we don't have to manually set this rule!

The only true all in one shipping solution available on the market. Really great to prevent any mistakes in shipping. Perfect to optimize picking and cuts down on shipping time.
