This app is pretty straightforward, and its prices are not lower than Shopify or Pirateship. The dashboard itself is glitchy and slow. To pay to use their shipping platform when others are free doesn't make sense to us. They have a lot of work to do before it's worth paying for.
I just moved over to this setup, and honestly, it’s been frustrating from day one.
I’m running two Shopify stores, plus WooCommerce and Amazon. Orders are pulling in from Shopify just fine, but after I buy labels, the status never updates or syncs back. It just sits there.
I’ve already:
Deleted and reconnected both Shopify and ShippingEasy
Checked that the “ship from” addresses match
Verified everything I can think of
Nothing works.
I even called Shopify support—they confirmed there’s no issue on their end, and I can manually mark orders as shipped without any problem.
What’s strange is:
WooCommerce and Amazon work perfectly
Only Shopify won’t sync status
It’s been 6 days now. I’ve contacted ShippingEasy support multiple times, and all I get is “waiting for developer updates.”
But I can’t keep waiting.
Right now I’m manually copying and pasting tracking numbers one by one—it’s slow, repetitive, and honestly draining.
If anyone has run into this before or found a fix, I’d really appreciate the help.
only foreign customer service. language barrier. used to have good customer in the past
The app has a LOT of user experience issues, but the latest is just absurd. they completely removed password logins, and require a code be sent to your email in order to log in.
Well, if your email server is down? There is no alternate. You can't log in. There's no option to just use your password.
99.9999% of the internet has passwords AND two-factor authentication. Somehow these morons got it in their heads to completely remove the password option would "enhance convenience" (a literal quote from their customer support today).
I could go on with a number of other issues, but this one just boggles the mind so much I had to write a review.
I have not been able to log in for over 7 hours. 3 devices, each with 2 browsers, 3 reps, and ZERO resolve. I have deleted cookies, rebooted wifi, restarted the three devices and NOTHING!
I get the 2FA code but the screen after password says it cannot be accessed. Where do I put the text code?
I am very disappointed. And as much as I hate to change shipping apps after nearly 10 years, I think it time.
For those considering SHIPPING EASY! LOOK ELSEWHERE. There support has even gone downhill. They used to be good, real good.
BEWARE: When you uninstall this app, it continues to charge you. Be sure to unsubscribe BEFORE you uninstall the app.
Was going great for the 1st month then as of October 2024 Shipping Easy was and still is auto adding +1 into our online store's inventory. As of now they have no resolution and this puts a lot stress on the web team to consistently monitor when an order comes in to manually adjust the inventory in Shopify due to this 3rd party shipping app.
Hey there, thank you for reaching out and for bringing this experience to our attention! We have located your ticket and will have a team member be in touch regarding this issue. Please keep an eye on your inbox for a response from us!
I understand the need to raise prices every once in a while. However, if you will penalize folks for using their carrier accounts (and, therefore, their own negotiated rates), make sure that you build in some contingencies for cases where folks can NOT use your rates BY LAW. We ship alcohol and MUST ship using our shipping account. Charging us more for the "privilege" is bad business and worse optics.
I will be looking for an alternative and suggest friends in the industry do the same.
Great way to organize and ship when you have to fulfill a lot of orders. Great discounted shipping rates, and access to all freight forwarders.
I've used this app for years, mostly without trouble, but since I'm on the lowest plan they refuse to provide support even when it's about a bug in their app. No support for bugs means you're dead in the water, and who has time for that. OneBalance Fix for other users: If you need to use funds already in your OneBalance account, you can print your labels directly from Stamps.com. Their interface is clunky but it'll do in an emergency. Your Stamps.com login info is under "One Balance and Carriers", then "Manage Passwords".
