I’ve been using ShippyPro for nearly 10 years, since its early stages, and it used to be an outstanding platform. It was efficient, intuitive, and genuinely built with the user in mind. I recommended it without hesitation. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case.

Over the years, and especially after the last major update, the platform has deteriorated significantly. The interface has become over-designed and under-functional. Instead of improving workflows, they’ve made them more cumbersome. Shipping orders in bulk is now slower and unnecessarily complicated. What was once intuitive now requires extra steps and constant second-guessing.

The latest update introduced persistent bugs that disrupt daily operations, longer loading and processing times. Rather than streamlining processes, it has created friction at every stage. The focus seems to have shifted toward aesthetics at the expense of usability — exactly the opposite of what professional users need.

Customer service is equally disappointing. Responses are automated, generic, and clearly copy-pasted. There is no real attempt to address issues in depth, and no visible concern for long-term customer retention.

If my subscription hadn’t already auto-renewed, I would not have committed to another year.

It’s extremely disappointing to see a once excellent platform decline this way. A textbook example of how to undermine a product that used to work exceptionally well.

Long-term customers like you are incredibly important to us, which makes it even more disappointing to read that your recent experience hasn’t met expectations.

We fully understand how impactful platform changes can be, particularly when they affect daily workflows that teams rely on. The recent update was designed to improve scalability, performance, and long-term flexibility, but we recognize that some changes may have altered established habits and introduced friction. That was certainly not our intention.

Regarding performance and bugs, we are continuously monitoring feedback and releasing improvements to address reported issues as quickly as possible. If there are specific cases still affecting your operations, we would genuinely appreciate the opportunity to investigate them in detail with you.

On customer support, we’re sorry to hear that your experience felt impersonal. While we do use automation to ensure faster initial responses, our goal is always to provide meaningful and human follow-up when needed. This app is truly crap. It has a lot of great functionality, and integrates a ton of carriers. But the UX sucks, their support is not helpful. And worst of all, there's barely a day that it works without issues. You're on chat with their support all the time. It's a major pain.
And all that at the totally crazy price of €200/month, a multiple of what we pay for all other Shopify apps together and totally off other services like Sendcloud.
If you can - avoid.

We're sorry to read about your experience. Reliability and usability are core priorities for us, so we take comments like yours very seriously.

That said, we'd like to clarify a few points. ShippyPro is used daily by over 1,800 merchants worldwide, processing hundreds of thousands of shipments with a platform uptime of 99.9%. While issues can occasionally occur - especially in complex, multi-carrier environments - they are not representative of the standard experience we aim to deliver.

Regarding support, we hear your frustration about needing to contact us frequently. Each time you reached out, we worked to resolve your issues as quickly as possible, but clearly the overall experience wasn't what it should have been.

Interessante esperienza di interazione con il team di supporto di ShippyPro. Quasi in tempo reale si interagisce con un tecnico per investigare e cercare la causa del problema. In questo caso è stato scoperto un problema di sistema che ShippyPro risolverà presto.

ShippyPro is a very easy-to-use platform that makes shipping and label management simple and efficient. Their team has helped me with every issue I’ve had, always professional, patient, and incredibly helpful.

I wrote a very positive review about ShippyPro back in may 2019. Over the last few months things have changed quite a bit for the worse - so I wanted to update the review, partly for the benefit of other business owners, and also in the slight chance that somebody at ShippyPro is taking the time to read feedback.
When it's working, the App has and does save an enormous amount of time in creating shipping labels. I'd say that it is the most beneficial app we use.
About three or four months ago (perhaps a little more), ShippyPro stopped allowing customers to open a support chat directly on their platform. to put this in context, before this you could open a chat and ask questions when you had a problem - BUT - even before, the responsiveness of the support was not good. Often you'd open a chat, ask a question, and it would be minimum 30 mins before somebody answered you - sometimes hours. Now, you can't easily open a chat - they direct you to a BOT chat and help pages - eventually you get the opportunity to write a message with your problem - but you'll be lucky to get a reply the same day.
If you are lucky enough to get a reply, you will have somebody answering your questions after a few hours - so trying to resolve business and time critical problems is incredibly difficult.
To summarise - amazing App when working - customer support terrible.
I never thought I'd get to this point - but I'm actually looking at alternatives now. FYI ShippyPro - yes customer support is THAT important. With good support your App would get the five stars it used to - with the current support, I'm afraid it's a generous two stars.
