lifts the limitiations of shopifys default customization tremendously, i was considering going to a different platform because of the limitations but this app has completely fulfilled all customization features i would have switched for. highly reccomend

This app is great and has lovely customer service (I asked a question and they emailed me back with detailed answers within the hour). However, I wish the design-by-device-type was set up differently -- it often feels like a maze to adjust margins and paddings per device, with the tool sending you back to a sort of 'start menu' when moving between device settings! It would be great if this tool allowed a view which would only show options for a device type at a time (with no possibility to change the other device settings), to allow for further customisation. Currently, pages on mobile or tablet still look clunky if you have elements in 2+ columns. There are also some header bugs for mobile design. Otherwise, it's a great tool, for those willing to figure it out!

This app has helped me a lot with customising pages and I have been loving how easy it is yo use! The support is quick and always happy to help.

Shogun is amazing.

I use it for landing pages created within my Shopify store domain to drive conversions into a sales funnel. I'm in the process of redesigning my product pages to take advantage of the flexibility Shogun offers to tell better product stories. More compelling pages mean more conversions.

I'm a UI designer and I've worked with many builders, frameworks and style guides all of my career, I even designed my own page builder at one point and I must say that this page builder is amongst the best I've ever used.

It’s pretty intuitive to learn, although as with any new tool, the more you use it, to solve a specific design opportunity within your store, the more comfortable you’ll get using it. Building out different pages for select sections of my site, targeting various segments of my market was just the practice I needed to become a Shogun Master!

I particularly like the granular level of control Shogun gives you for each object and the visual guidance it provides along the way. It's very cool how you can adjust padding and margin to each nested item within a block, which I use often, especially when making revisions and fine-tuning the spacing between responsive web and mobile views.

It's also pretty awesome that Shogun comes with built-in version control. I also like the fact that if I install the app, and inadvertently delete it or need to reinstall it for a particular reason, my pages remain safe.

If I had one request, it would be the ability to create modals (popup windows containing additional details for folks who want to learn more) with the same level of design customization within. That would be way cool.

This is how the Shopify builder should work! Especially when it comes to the ability to make compelling product pages.

I used this app to create product pages and found it great and easy to master. They have a great library of videos that do a very good job explaining how to use Shogun. The support team is what makes this app special. Very quick to respond, very thorough and very professional. I highly recommend it.

*Update - We've been using this app for a few years not and it's come in handy and is easy to use once you get the hang of how it works. The support team is wonderful! 10/10 for responsiveness and getting our issues handled. This app is really nice once you get the hang of how it works. Very simple drag and drop system. I would only ask for more templates that flowed well for tablet and mobile as I had to create a different layout to fit each device.

it's really helping us develop some more engaging content across blog posts than currently doable in shopify directly and I can only see it getting better over time. Few workarounds needed sometimes to get desired outcome but so far so good!
