UPDATE: Fabulous news, the new fucntionality allowing us to import templates from the old ( legacy) order printer app is BRILIANT! Thank you!! You listened. It works perfectly. 5 STAR!

Why oh why can't we have a tempate builder? Why do we need to be coders? I used the originl Order Pinter app for years and it was great...you purchased templates from its sister app and had the WYSIWYG ...

We have been fairly happy with the new Order Printer. Customizing the template worked out for us. A couple of things we would like to see, however. 1) A unit price (or price each) and then a total price for each line item ordered. 2) On local pickup orders, have the Packing Slip show the name, address, phone, etc. of the purchasing customer.

Shopify forcing the migration without putting any measures in place to help support template migration is a joke. Shopify is not the company they were 10 years ago, absolute travesty.

Im working with support now as I agree with most of these reviews. There are issues with this new app. In my opinion, the "legacy" app had a much cleaner look and should continue to be supported. I sent 12-13 orders to the printer yesterday and all did not populate. This was after spending 6 hours with the help of chat gpt to get the code right to have the finished form look like our original ...

POOR Product rollout! Programming experience over 30 years and took me a day and a half to re configure the template we use. The Shopify Help Center documentation is inconstant: 'weight' variable' to be changed to 'grams' for some reason, then farther down is says change 'grams' to 'weight' . Literally the worst idea. My invoice template that I BOUGHT does not work on the new version. None of my settings are there and the packing slip is not supposed to have prices on it. I am extremely disappointed in this move.

The update is not friendly at all. We've not been able to transfer templates suitably, and the consistent issues between the legacy printer, and the updated version is horrendous.
