All my templates imported fine from the old app. No issues printing either. Seems to load much faster - what's to complain about?
crap templates - too confusing to even try and customize

I think people just jumped on to write a review before really diving into the new app. I successfully transferred all of my old templates. Although, I did have to rework them a little bit.
I am not sure about adding images, but that isn't something we utilize so can't help combat that negative review. Overall, it was an easy switch and it's an easy app to use.
This app is a desaster. I tried to use the template of the old order printer app which I was using now for years and have translated it, since my shop is in German. The new version just deletes my translation. When I copied my translated template from the old version of Order Printer to the new version it didn't work. Please stop dictating customers which app to use if you don't have the minimal of foresight that there are people acting in a different language than English.
Hi, there! Thanks for taking the time to review the Shopify Order Printer App.
We recognize the effort you've put into tailoring the Order Printer templates to fit the unique needs of your business. As you probably noticed, legacy custom templates, while fully supported, are currently not automatically migrated to the new Shopify Order Printer app.
To assist you with this transition, we have updated the Migration guide here: (https://shopify.link/Gxo2) to include examples for the most common customizations. -Maz, Shopify Support
In the legacy order printer when you print as PDF and save on pc, the name of the file would contain the specific order number. In the new version the pdf file has a standard name. So when you print to pdf many orders you have to manually change the name for each order. It is just one unnecessary extra step.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! I appreciate you letting us know about this being important to your workflow, and I'm happy to share this with our developers for consideration in future updates. -Sophia, Shopify Support
A lot of manual work to try and migrate templates. Needs a migration functionality for custom templates. If this is replacing the order printer app shopify should be handling migration for customers not making us recreate the wheel.
Even after doing all the work to manually edit the template it is weirdly different sizes in ways I cant control (tiny fonts, random extra space, etc). Worst, it cuts off the text at the bottom of the order. Half way through the shipping line it just cuts off and leaves off everything past that (order notes, etc)
Address function decided the address needs extra space added above and below that cant be controlled.
Hey, there! Thanks for your review. We understand there are challenges in migrating to the new app, and we appreciate you taking the time to share these. I'll make sure to loop our app development team in about your feedback so they can consider it for future app improvements. -Summer, Shopify Support
Changed my entire template, If you are developing a new app at least make your template attractive. Shopify can't invest that much for their users ? to atleast provide professionals invoices for their clients.
Thanks for your feedback on the template design! We would love to hear more about what you want the template to look like so we can share the feedback with our developers. If there is additional feedback you would like to provide, please contact us via the Help Center: https://shopify.link/1w5D. -Sophia, Shopify Support
I am not sure why Shopify does not improve the ‘Shopify Order Printer’ to make it easier to use and send invoices after orders are shipped automatically. Instead, Shopify suggests spending more money on third-party apps that are not located in the UK or EU. Concerns about GDPR compliance and data retention for our customers’ data remain unclear with those firms that sells apps from https://apps.shopify.com/
Hi, there! Thanks for your review! We understand the importance of having efficient and compliant tools to manage your business operations, especially when it comes to handling customer data under GDPR.
It's important to note that Shopify does not have control over the data handling practices of third-party app developers.
To ensure that any third-party app you consider is compliant with GDPR and meets your standards for data privacy and security, we strongly recommend reviewing the Privacy Policy of each app before installation. You can find these policies on the app’s listing page in the Shopify App Store. -Maz, Shopify Support
why ? current one is perfect, and is all set up how we need it to be . new one is generic and clunky ..and not at all easy for the non techy . not happy . change for change sake

New order print is horrible. There are no sku's on the invoices and it is including my corporate information and DBA on the invoice. Totally NOT wanted. Can't figure out how to fix it
