It has been most difficult to transfer our invoice templates to this app from the legacy version. I've had to teach myself enough coding to be able to figure out how to make the old template work here, which has taken me so many working hours, for there to find out afterwards that there's issues that many other people are experiencing because they haven't even been fixed by the developers yet. ...

This should be a smooth transfer from the old app to the new one but it's not. The import templet function does not work and when we try to print orders in bulk every couple pages is messed up and split between two pieces of paper. They really need to implement some support for this app or fine tune it and rerelease.

It pains me to leave this review but here's goes...

No search. No tax number. No branding. No layout. No respect - it's like we're in a minimum viable app experiment?

This feels like a higher-level strategy to favour app developers by moving basic functions to apps. But the app store soup is a Shopify downside, not a strength: less apps = better.

I do not like the new app at all. My old template doesn't work and I can't seem to edit this one with any of the coding. Someone please tell me how to get the shipping title to show on the packing slip? It takes too much time to look at each order individually to see what shipping method to use. I tried several of the variables and none of them are working!

Does not work properly. The templates from the legacy were perfect, and I've used them or years. I migrated the templates per instructions, but the order number is missing, as well as the date and email fields. Not great. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. And if you're going to fix it, make sure you have a solution that works. This is not it guys. Horrible, huge misstep.

Wow, what a disappointment. The original Order Printer was certainly not the best, but I presume most of us eventually got it to work and considered that a sunk cost.

Years later and this is what you've got? You have to be kidding! I'm hours into it and I still can't get decent results, the templates are lousy and it has been super flaky, sometimes completely failing to load.

Shopify forcing the migration without putting any measures in place to help support template migration is a joke. Shopify is not the company they were 10 years ago, absolute travesty.

UPDATE: Vast improvement with the new IMPORT feature that Shopify has just added. I imported my legacy templates into the Shopify Order Printer and they work perfectly and once again they look beautiful.
