The app is good. However, to improve further (5 star), you should allow free users to delete their subscribers. This feature is crucial as sometimes we have clients who wants to delete their subscription.
Nevertheless, i was quite impressed by Brooks who handled my queries on deleting my current subscribers. He was very prompt and helpful.
If being asked if i would recommend this app, i said 100%, yes.

She didn't just follow instructions; she explained the outcomes and offered more informed solutions, which I ended up loving even more. Customer service has been responsive and helpful when I have needed to reach out. Sometimes I am frustrated that I have to reach out to customer service. For example, we recently changed our theme for our website, and the theme did not automatically pull over all of the necessary elements from our customer portal (we were missing the "manage subscriptions" button). This was not a fix I could do on my own - nor was it something that I realized was a problem until a customer reached out, which doesn't help my company's image. Sometimes it feels like there are too many options and apps in Shopify, and it is difficult to anticipate how one change might impact other elements. I acknowledge that this is difficult to manage on the tech side - especially among multiple entities, and it is still frustrating as a business owner. Mostly, I think it is a helpful app. Aside from this recent frustration the only other wish that I have for the app is a way to export future orders (knowing that people can always pause or skip), but this function would be helpful in forecasting.
The app has somewhat of a learning curve to it, some of the menus take a little while to decifer, but overall it integrates with my shopify store quite well and the customer service when I have questions is TOP NOTCH! So quick, responsive and helpful.

Recently our subscription needs shifted and we've been trying to decide which app to switch to. After weeks of research we've settled on Appstle for a number of reasons:
1. Customer service is always ready to help. Doesn't seem to matter when we need it, they are there.
2. Feature set has everything we needed. One of the few subscription apps that truly does everything, including allowing customers to swap items, build their own box, add whole sets to cart, and more.
3. They don't skim off your bottom line. We made a decision early on that we weren't going to use any app that takes a percentage of revenue (unless they offer something outrageously unique). Appstle offers a very honest pricing structure that doesn't kill small businesses when they need capital the most.
4. Customization. We were initially put off by Appstle's demo store, as it displays things in a very basic and unflattering manner. However after testing they offer customization of everything, including access to custom css panels throughout. With a little effort you can get everything on brand and looking great.
Overall we've quite happy with our onboarding experience thus far and look forward to doing business with this team for years to come.
