Yes The Motivator is probably a great app BUT:
1. In the video they promise that "You can customize everything". That is not true. Our store is Bulgarian, the symbols are Cyrillic but the app displays “???” instead the correct symbols. When we asked the developer to help us with this issue (you know that a lot of developers can easy solve such problems) the answer was: “Our applications out of the box wont support Cyrillic, however they do support unicode https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyrillic_script_in_Unicode, the work around at the moment would be to use the unicode characters or have your customers use chrome with the translate extension.”
2. In the video they promise “No liquid or HTML”. That is not true. You have to pay $10 even at the beginning of the free trial period for settings in the Liquid and HTML.
So in our case we paid $10 at the first day of our free trial and then realize that we are receiving nothing. We are very disappointed, good luck for all that works with English alphabet.

Very easy to set up and is effective. I wish you could set goals based on other criteria beyond just the shopping cart value though. But still an excellent tool for a very reasonable price.

Contacted support 2 days ago with zero response, had the item installed proffessionally by bold apps yet there is an error when adding an item to the cart where it bugs out the cart and customers cant check out when adding a free gift, sent numerous messages with no replies, getting very frustrated now can someone please reply, i will be happy to revise star rating as soon as it works

Server reliability seems to be an issue with this app. We are in the middle of a promotion, and the app has stopped working for nearly 24 hours.

This App is very useful, but it should be able to differentiate between desktop & mobile sites, as I'm getting same font size and text on both platforms. I want to customize/cut-down the text for mobile site.

Overall good app! Easy to implement and use. Would like to see a feature without a time limit on the dropdown, especially when motivation goal has been met.

I have been using it for a short time, but I am pleased with it. The app definitely serves its purpose. Its customizable features are great because (lets be honest) no one wants some tacky notification ruining their theme. I plan on using it for a few more months to see how well it influences my customers. Would definitely recommend trying it out if you are considering it.
